Man, I don't know what is going on with me. I've been pretty good the past couple years about watching what I eat better. But the past couple weeks I have had an almost insatiable appetite and craving sugar. I bought a box of Little Debbies yesterday to keep in my desk drawer. That's something I used to regulary but not any more. I mowed about 6 of them down consecutively yesterday without taking a breath.

In all seriousness, get some bloodwork done and check your Thyroid and blood sugar levels.

Had half my thryoid taken out about 20 years ago so my levels are monitored about once a year already. And I've already gone through this whole self-diagnosed hypoglycemia thing a year or two ago where I was feeling faint and absolutely famished if I hadn't eaten for 4 hours. I thought I had it under control but maybe I am doing something differently. I did get a cortisone shot a few weeks ago. That wouldn't make you hungry, would it?

Have you been working out or exercising?

Sure. Where's work?

If my notebook is accurate, this would be at the Boeing facility in Renton. Some good choices from there - you can go East side or downtown side. Most of the good neighborhoods in Seattle proper are north of downtown which isn't an option for you, but you could do West Seattle, which is where I am, that is nice and close to the sound to boot. If you want more of the suburban feel, Renton and Belevue are fine. You can also go more East and start to head up into the mountains a bit

Signed up for my first Relay Triathlon. I'll be doing this with two friends of ours as Miss can't participate but she'll be helping throughout the event. I'm doing the cycling portion. We are raising funds to help out some local families so it should be a fun event.

That's a shame. Drifter and Ninja and Rover and others are better resources to find a place there, but I'll do whatever I can to assist. I LOVE West Seattle. There has got to be a place for you and the dog...Other ideas: Green Lake, Fremont, Montlake(sp?)....

I've been the same way. Been eating these like crazy at night. But hey, they're fat free!! My glucose is in the normal range however unlike my liver, kidneys & Vitamin D. Their seats are on the small side too. I'm not a biggin' but it sucks being smooshed because of another big passenger.I do usually use Spirit because they are consistently cheaper....even with the bag fees.Tip: It's sometimes cheaper with Spirit to just check a bag rather than do a carry on.
