When we say nudge, we mean give it a little bump every now and again, not slam it 80 feet from its original position (or 1/8" from its original position for that matter).You can NOT play good pinball without nudging. My apartment has no side neighbors - there is another unit on this floor but it only shares at wall with my back/guest bedroom.One spot is over the laundry room. I guess I just don't really care. The coolness factor of having a skee ball machine > worrying about how the noise might affect my neighbors. They are loud at times, I'm sure I'm loud at times. Welcome to apartment living.

I think I might be addicted to pain killers.

One of my many worries heading into Wednesday surgery. Not on anything currently but. I'll need something once they cut my knee.

I have chronic back pain and what I do is never take them more than two consecutive days or three days in a week. If you follow that pattern is is difficult to ever become physically addictive. When you are in a lot of pain keep a lot of ibupropen or naprosen flowing thru your system (max doseage everyday) to keep pain in check.

Anyone got any tips for an old fat dude to lose 20lbs? Keep in mind I like booze, like crappy food, and can't seem to find any time in my schedule these days to regularly work out. I could start setting an alarm for 6:30am to knock out this third thing, but I also enjoy sleep.TIA

If only there was a thread on this very board where a bunch of overweight guys all started losing weight at the same time, and kept each other motivated. Or an entire thread devoted to using an app to keep track of the crappy food you are eating so you don't eat too much of it, and help you lose the extra weight.

Pretty sure Otis is going to annihilate this thing if I keep clocking 1200 calories per day. Supermodels eat more.

Clocked in around 1200 yesterday. Today looking at about 1100 after a couple glasses of red and a piece of dark chocolate. I may plunk down a scotch on the rocks as a nightcap. SUCK IT FATTIES!!11

Thanks, Cos. Had pre-op meeting where they gave me a prescription for percocet and basically said they'll monitor my usage and the doctor is usually conservative with pain pills.
