Who else is still alive in the FBG survivor contest? :coffee:
Barely. I've squeaked by every week so far. Only have one TE left and he hasn't had his bye. Doomed, am I.Ahh, the joys of parenthood. Came home from work today, soaking wet and filthy from the bike ride home. I was about to close the garage door when my son says "hold it" and asks if he can borrow my rake to go rake up my 90 year old neighbor's front yard out of the goodness of his heart. Unprompted. What a little guy. Same guy pretended to be interested tonight when my whiskey swilling lunatic aunts (in town from parts unknown, all of them, bringing the Overstreet Crazy total to 4 for the night) forced him to listen to them repeat stories and drone on and on (ask Charv about my mom's sisters). What a little guy, this Cooper.Same guy comes home, showers up, gets ready for bed and as I go to tuck in this champion of youth and kiss his head goodnight I notice a slight....stench. Hair is wet, but it's not Pert fresh or Prell clean. It's...kind of smelly, like a wet dog after a soggy walk. So I ask this do-gooder,future mayor; "hey Coop, did you forget to use shampoo tonight?" and he sheepishly replied "yes", and I said "when was the last time you washed your hair?" and he paused long and hard before responding to me...."July".  :X Win some, lose some.

I also hated rye bread until I started eating Ruebens. I only have a couple of these glorious sandwiches a year, but man, I love them. Sometimes during Blazer games, they offer up mini-ruebens. :excited: :excited: :excited:

I liked your aunt's. Outspoken, women who know what they want and know where they are headed.

So i was diagnosed yesterday with Sixth Cranial Nerve palsy. Basically double vision due to weak muscles in my right eye because of a vascular event. Anyone have any experience with this? I asked if wearing a neck brace would alleviate my symptoms. My humorless Asian neurologist said no. My wife looked at me like I was crazy.

Look at it this way, you were warned you'd go blind doing it and you merely developed double vision. Consider it a win?

Oh it is a win/win as the wife is quite sympathetic but I think the clock is running down on that aspect.

Mrs. SLB gave me some bad news but I'm going to wait for the doc to confirm it.
What? Sorry whatever is going on.
Meh, I'm fine. I was just lead to believe that today would be the last day without the neck brace & I would be able to drive again. That was apparently BS. We'll see.
:goodposting: :lmao: I don't think MT washes his hair either so he's in good company.

 I won't have another for a long time but when I'm craving it, look out.

So homer... what do you have planned for the SB?
It'll probably be a $500 night for me behind the bar. Very necessary during the doldrums of January and February. No traveling for thisguy.

Been sitting at a Panera bread for the past two hours. Was gonna leave a while ago, but an Asian family with two young daughters sat down near me.

I stayed.

Another date? Do we have a list of possible dates?God we suck at organizing.
You should put a list of who is in and the date in your sig for those of us that prefer to ride the fence until the last minute.

Holy crap.

Female student: My parents named me Mariah because of Mariah Carey.

Me: That's pretty cool.

Female student: Yeah and they named my older brother after some kid in a movie.

Me: What's his name?

Female student: Tanner.

Me:  What movie?

Female student: Ummm...that baseball one...the Bears?

Me: YOUR PARENTS NAMED YOUR BROTHER AFTER TANNER BOYLE FROM THE BAD NEWS BEARS!?!??!?!

Female Student: Yeah, that's the one.
