Fair enough. I was not patronizing you. My brother and I took our dad to wriggles on Labor Day. Best experience he ever had with the two of us. He liked it so much we are going to Fenway this year. As for me, it made me realize that we are all three getting older and there are some things I wished we'd done in years past.

We already spend all weekend tailgating together when Texas plays at home. My bucket list thing to do is take him to see Hayes Carll play at a festival. He's never done it and mom would never go with him.

I have four tix to his next show at Antones. They've been know to set me up with a table...

Made a huge pot of chili tonight.

Sent the following through the meat grinder:

4# Fajita Meat

2.5# Bacon

2.5# Chuck

2# Boneless pork country ribs

Diced up:

3# Ny Strip

Added

I cup chopped frsh garlic

I bunch chopped celery

2 qt. Chopped onions

i Industrial sized can of diced romatoes

1/4 cup cumin

2T Cinammon

3/4 c Onion powder

For Chili:

Roasted seeded and diced:

3 bell peppers

3 anaheim peppers

3 pasilla peppers

4 ancho peppers

Plus another cup and a half of dark Red Texas Chili Powder

Its been simmering on the stove for about six hours. Going to cool it down now and reheat in the morning to serve at lunch.

I also have a huge pot of four lbs pinto beans simmering with a fresh picnic thrown in the pot for flavoring.

I serve my chili without beans, but try to have a pot on the sides for those who like to mix it up.

this is a total look at me and it will get lost in the other posts but I got an offer on the job I interviewed for and I'm just really excited

So they sent me an offer, I talked with the hr lady friday and negotiated some things. She said she would get back to me today. So usually how do these negotiations take place. The last time I negotiated a salary and the guy pretty much said ok we can do that on the spot. Just curious do I wait a couple days, a week? about following up. I know they are not pulling the offer as what I asked for was not out of line.Just curious, not stressed... TIAI'm not the greatest at job switching as you can tell.

so I heard back Filling out a medical form - how important is it if I remember if I had Hep A, Hep B and MMR tests?

My mom still doesn't understand many of the basics of email and texting. My brother had to take this big, pain in the ### test for his job today. He sends everybody in the family this text:"Passed the test. Didn't know how well I did but passed with more than 14 points to spare!"5 minutes later my mom forwards this same message. She does this at least 2-3 times a month with emails and texts.So I decide to mess with her a bit.Me: You had a test today too?Mom: No. That was from your brother.Me: Then why does it say 'Mom's Cell'?Mom: Because I forwarded to you? Me: OhI wait a few minutes and reply all to my brother's original message "Congrats to Mom and Darren for passing their tests!"
