Also, my sons didn't have school yesterday. I'm not sure what the reason was. Last Monday they had off for "report cards" or some crap. They have more 'off days' in the Oregon Public School system than any school system on the planet I'm sure. And yet our teachers are among the top paid teachers in the nation (with the 4th worst graduation rate in the country). Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.......

But that not why we here.

Yesterday, Cooper and I rode our bikes to the train station, hopped the WES train, biked into my office where he interviewed my co-worker Vipul for his 'Culture Report' or something. So I worked while Cooper sequestered Vipul in the conference room and fired questions at him. Cooper now wants to move to India because they have a festival over there where they put paint in water balloons, climb on top of buildings and throw them at passers bye.

We wrapped up our taxing work day at 11:45, biked over to Buffalo Wildwings for lunch and then, we biked the entire way home together. 12 miles for an 8 year old kid who is only accustomed to circling around our neighborhood. Not bad. He slept the sleep of the dead last night.

Someone please remind me that for financial reasons it would be ludicrous not to stick out this job for another three months.

Have fun with the number and figure out the magnitude of it. How long would it take you to give away the money if you handed out a $1 every minute until it was gone?

How many cups of coffee could you buy at Starbucks with it? How much volume would that equal? What could you fill with that much liquid?

How many stars could you have named for you?

Need to get rid of some things and not sure whether to bother trying to sell/give them away for very little or just donate them.

We thought there was a chance we might be coming back and considered putting some stuff in storage, but none of it is really worth enough to do so. Mostly Ikea-type stuff.
