usually related to stress. I know that limiting caffeine and computer usage helps. Sounds like you just need to rest. Placing a warm wet cloth over you eyes should help also

We had bubblegum that strapped commercial pop onto our chords and called it rocknroll. We withstood The Archies, John Denver and countless others infringing our turf. But all of a sudden, disco appeared with clean. well-lighted and artistically composed venues pumping bass and rhythm with scantily clad bouncing women, but worst of all- they took our drugs. It was as easy to score in a disco as it was at a Grateful Dead concert. I am nnota Metal head, not a teaparties and may or may not be an #######.Ok, I probably may be an #######But I felt as if the rocknroll culture was threatened by an imferior flavor of music that was still completely based on what we had created. One of the saddest days of my music-listening life was when DC101 (a heretofore "hard rock" station) was reduced to playing Billy Joel's "Allentown" in regular rotation. My idiot-self must've not written the Nicaraguan address correctly because Amazon shipped them here (my default shipping address). Thanks, GB. Not chemo, though, just radiation and some witch doctor stuff. I'm not doing any more chemo - #### that ####. This is a choice I'm pretty clear-eyed about - I would rather load up on opiates both legal and illegal, and drift away than do that again. I'm not saying no one else should, just that it didn't seem to help (according to Lucy, the radiation did more - ?) and it made me sick as ####. As I said above, I feel pretty good nowadays so maybe it's easy for me to say these things now and act like John Wayne. The best thing about all of this is that it forced me to get my affairs in order, which everyone should do whether you're sick or not. The last Will I had written was 20 years ago and doesn't apply anymore (2 divorces and a few properties ago). I overspent for a lawyer on this one when I could've done it myself, but I had a reason: besides my brother & mother, I have no heirs. If I somehow outlive them, I have no one to leave my "estate" to; I have cousins, but all are better-off than I and don't need money. So, the lawyer is 3rd in line behind mom/bro with the instructions to liquidate and give all profits to the local food bank. I also got on paper to be creamated, not to be kept alive by artificial means, and to have anyone who wants one to take an organ for whatever reason (God help who ends up with my lungs and liver).I'm just guessing here, but it seems most who post regularly in this thread have kids/SO/homes/family (hell, even if you don't). Not to get all preachy, but do your loved ones a favor and write a Will. It'll take less than a half-hour of your time and can cost under $100. I've seen first-hand what "no Will" can #### up and it ain't pretty.

Julio asked me to send him an Orioles cap. So, I bought 3 different hats. My idiot-self must've not written the Nicaraguan address correctly because Amazon shipped them here (my default shipping address). Luckily, krista is going down there in a couple of weeks and will take them for me. When I explained all of this to Julio, his exact response was "OK MAN DON,T WORRY PERFECT!!!".

That's awesome. Don't worry--if things had gone to Nicaragua it would take months (really) to get there and then Julio would have to go to Managua to sign for the package. It's better this way.Good luck with the radiation next week. I don't feel like "good luck" is the appropriate nomenclature, but I'm not sure what else might be.

We leave Lisbon tomorrow to get back home. There is a 65.6% chance I will not make it home due to the Saharan death flu I'm still battling. This sucks. On the bright side, we had lunch here today. Tony Bourdain recommended, krista4 approved...best seafood I've had anywhere in my life.

I would guess it's stress related. When I get really stressed my left eyelid twitches like crazy, once the stress is gone the twitching stops.
