Shuke> had lunch with this guy yesterday. Do you have his bobblehead?
:lmao:I used to LOVE that guy.
seriously? why?ETA: the mullet?
He was on some of the worst Bengals teams in history...I had to pick someone to like. Plus, he was sneaky good on Tecmo.
:thumbup:He told me the whole combine story..he was there with Deion, Barry, Aikman, etc... weighed 155, but ran a sub 4.3 40...drafted on the first day, etc. pretty cool for a D3 guy.

Another snow day today so I'm home with the boys. Really bored, I should be working but it is terribly slow. I guess because of the weather.Anyhow I just ordered.....This as a present for Cal's upcoming birthday.3 of these because of the commentsand this just because
"Ewoks not included." :lmao:
Yeah pretty much sealed the deal for me.ETAI plan on hiding an EvilTron in the IT department at work. They're young and can take a joke. "Can you hear me?" lol

Quick update on my day... I had a job interview for a position in my company that is pretty much my dream job... It's a promotion and the work is the stuff I love to do. I passed the first stage and this was the second. As I was leaving after having discussions with the group, the hiring manager said they were busy next week with sessions and would let me know if I made it to the next round the week after. For the next round they are planning on getting the list down to 2 people and inviting them individually to join a staff meeting to see what it's like and get a feel for how that person would fit in. After I met with the team this morning, I sent them all emails individually thanking them for their time and asking if there were any other questions they had for me. The hiring manager sent me the following reply:

guster, It was fun having you over and you made a great impression. In fact, we're wondering if you can join us for staff meeting on Tuesday afternoon say 3:00 - 4:30. We've started meditating twice a week so you're welcome to join us at 2:30 for our meditation - no pressure (really, this isn't a test). Does Tuesday afternoon work for you?
   Not only did I make a good enough impression to make it to the next round, but they are brining me in ASAP!!Plus, getting paid to meditate is kinda cool :excited:

Be sure to tell about that time you golfed with the Dali Lama and were guaranteed total consciousness.

This is an obvious lie.

Seriously congrats GBG.But meditate? Seriously? I would have such a hard time sucking it up and going to that.
In a normal work environment, sure... But this place is much more "creative"I mean, there is a gong on every floor, bean bag chairs and exercise balls all over the place Plus the team is really close. There are 6-8 people total in this group and they are in a renovated old building downtown, separated from the rest of the company. When there are only 7 other people in your office, i imagine you tend to get to know them pretty well and develop a certain level of comfort.

Yeah, everyone had shoes on. I assume that's standard protocol, but maybe it would be good shtick to be the slipper guy

From what I've read here, I would say there is an 82% chance of this.
