Did my good deed for the day.
Walking in downtown Minny (about a block away from Macy's) when all of a sudden I see a guy ride up on a bike, grab the backpack of the woman walking just in front of me. He then grabs her shoulder, spins her around and starts getting somewhat rough with her, while still straddling his bike.
This doesn't appear to be a domestic dispute, just a random confrontation.
I'm with my son(13) and after taking a few steps past the altercation, I tell him to keep walking, which he does.
I turn around and as I'm walking towards the two, I hear the guy, nose to nose with the woman, talking about learning respect...blah, blah, blah
I get up to them and ask her if she's OK
He tells me to get out of here and starts back in on her about respect.
'What have you done to earn anyone's respect?'
'Excuse me'
'Look. I'm sure whatever she did doesn't warrant you manhandling her....' (tanner softball)
'You best keep walking'
At this point, I stare him down, crack a smile and take a step right at him.
'I told you to keep walking'
tough guy nod activated as I continue to stare and smile.
'Oh, that's it!, mother

'As he starts to get off his bike.
By this time, I realize the woman is a safe distance away. So I step away without letting him out of my site so I don't get blindsided.
I then catch up to my son, now on the other side of the street in front of Macy's, and we went and hid in the store
