Coming back to the US. :)

Atlanta, Savannah, and New Orleans are the contenders right now.
Savannah
I'd be wary of Savannah. Its really cool on a lot of levels, kind of like Charleston.

We moved to Charleston and loved it for about 30 days. The next six months before we gtf out of there were some of the most excruciating ever. Southern accents, manners and charm are very agreeable and pleasant for a while, but the unspoken, underlying racism and general redneckness become quite transparent before long.

Definitely test drive it for a month before investing in property or even a lease.

Actually, with your track record, I'd make that recommendation for any city.
Don't you think this would be a general issue in all three locations? Agree, should always test drive.
Atlanta and New Orleans are much larger and more culturally diverse. Not really a comparison in my experience.
Interesting. I have been to Atlanta and New Orleans several times and thought the same thing that you mentioned about Charleston. Haven't been to Savannah but heard a lot about it so thought it would be better. I guess the best advice is to kick the tires a few times regardless of the location.

Soooooo....anybody else have a former boss get picked up in a prostitution sting over the weekend? Homer? Rude? Cos?
Thank god law enforcement agencies still perform these types of stings. I feel so much safer knowing that these cutthroats (the johns) are being rounded up.

I also must applaud the newspaper(s) who publish the list of arrestees for all to see. The shame and public humiliation is totally deserving.

Tend to agree here. The guy hasn't even had his day in court and yet his mugshot and name is splashed all over the local media here. Guy runs a $4.5 Billion Fund....or, I should say ran after this newsbomb. Born again christian with a heavy thumping wife, 5 kids, numerous grandkids, gigantic donor to his church, younglife and countless charities. Of course, one of his charities raises money to curb global sex slave trafficking. Whooops.

Talked to two of the guys that work there today and they said it's like somebody died in the office. Hushed tones, people worried about their future. Awful. All because their leader wanted to allocate a few hundred of his multimillions to some strange. I feel bad for the guy. Great dude to work for. The best salesmen I've ever met (outside of SLB) but no doubt there are a lot of people who will take joy in his arrest. I think there's a German word for it...snausages or something? Enjoyment in watching others suffer? Especially those others who claim devout religiosity.

We likely have all 3 of our TEs missing week 1.

Off to a great start!
Dustin Keller available.

:coffee:
Pretty sure there are no trades. Except when Cos does one I guess.
Apparently that one wasn't too tedious.
I never voiced a single complaint on trades or waivers. Its the lineups that are onerous.
Redraft?

Pretty cool that you know Dominique Strauss-Kahn.

Frosty, don't go into that stupid BB thread. Even when you're all caught up. Just pretend it doesn't exist.

I'm on Season 3, episode 5. This show is ridiculously good.
Season 4, Ep 9 here.

Just wait until Season 4, Frosty. You'll want to stab Skylar in the eye. That character goes from highly sympathetic to outrageously annoying.
The BB thread is like this Flysack post x 1000.

I've actually gone back in the thread and looked at discussion about each episode after I watched it. Pretty freaking terrible. I don't know why I keep doing it.

Sorry I made a causal observation about a show I'm watching, guy. You want in depth character analysis, Timmy-style, or just dumb perverted observations about the methheads?

That skank mother was bangworthy after a couple dozen hits off the pipe.

Never been there. Never had the desire too. If it's anything like the LOST thread, it's a total nightmare.

Why do I keep going in there? One of the best episodes yet (for those who watched,

The Fly
) and the majority of posters are complaining about it and calling it a filler episode. Are there really people out there who want everything to be action and intrigue and explosions without realizing that without character development you wouldn't care about the action that takes place? I see why Truck checked out of that thread and why Tanner ends up in fights in every TV show thread. Sometimes I think the posters here are pretty smart but when it comes to TV and movies there are a lot of dummies.

Sorry gb, I appreciate that you appreciate it. And I liked it okay the first round, but I recently re-watched the entire series and that was the one episode I skipped. Pretty self-indulgent.I'm no looking Fellini and Bergman on the Fox network B-channel with 20 minutes of commercials every hour.

I can understand skipping it on a re-watch, really, but the complaints in that thread are like they're from children.

Can someone explain the whole flysack/gpj feud?
