GM's thread about nothing (19 Viewers)

We bought cantelope at Costco. It's phenomenal. I bet Tanner would hate it.
Is buying cantaloupe where you live a big deal? Like GM shooting off fireworks when he buys raisins?
Whoa, let's be REAL clear here.....I didn't BUY any raisins. I happened into them whilst eating something I didn't know would have raisins. Finding them there was a real treat. Buying raisins? That's silly. It's the little things in life, you know? Happy little surprises, like finding a five dollar bill in an old pair of pants or your life letting you sleep with her much hotter sister. Buying raisins in a box takes the fun all out of it.
I buy a #### load of raisins

Sitting through depositions being taken by bad attorneys is painful. I'm three hours in to something that should have taken 45 minutes.
Don't you get paid by the hour?
No
What kind of lawyer are you then? I though all lawyers liked to waste time because they were paid by the hour.
Plaintiffs work on contingency, so the more efficient they are the more money they make (effectively). But at this point I'm an independent contractor working for an agreed-upon fee for six months. I have no stake in the outcome, and I don't have billable hours because the firm I'm working with does contingent fee work.It doesn't matter what I'm doing, exactly. This is just horribly, horribly boring and mind-numbingly stupid.
If you have no vested interest then You could have stood up and pled guilty or accepted the offer or whatever hours ago. This is on you.
You do know this has nothing to do with sweater vests, right?

A man's opinion of Monty Python is one of the few benchmarks upon which I will base ones intelligence. If they don't think it's funny, I basically write them off as a functioning human being.

You should take up Scramble with friends.
:goodposting: I need more games. I'm down to Tanner and the tiny crazy redhead lady from the accounting department.
Is my wife ignoring you?

Get in line.
:lmao:

She quit sending me invites. Sucks too, we had some really good games. She is more Brady than Romo in the third round.
ouch

Monty Python was funny when I was 12. I tried watching Meaning of Life a year or so ago...godawful.

CNN has a story on its site about famous people that are biracial.

Some people that were highlighted are what I would consider to be common knowledge. (The Rock, Lenny Kravitz, Lisa Bonet, Maya Rudolph)

How come I never knew that Bob Marley fit into this category?

I don't think there are a lot of black people out there (at least in the Americas) that are 100% black.

Blazing Saddles was funny for 5 minutes back in 1982

I need more likes for today.
Hi, I'm going to use all my likes on your posts today despite never really using them at all and not understanding why we have them. But I need a favor.

I kept one pound of your delicious sausage in my garage fridge. However, when I moved the boys' WII into their bedroom, I unplugged all kinds of cords and accidentally unplugged the fridge in the garage on Monday. Now, it's been pretty cold in Portland so my beers in there were still cold when I retrieved them as the garage is not heated. However, it's warmed up to the mid 50s and last night, I realized to my horror that the sausage has been sitting in an unplugged fridge. When I grabbed the sausage, it was not very cold. It's never been opened, but I worry that it's unsafe to eat. I hate to waste it...

I'll get your thoughts off the air. Thanks. :like:

Logical.

But in this case, it's not down the lineage a couple of generations. His dad was GM white

Eh, it's probably fine? I'd just cook the #### out of it and risk it. But that's me. I doubt I'd serve it to my kid. Maybe my wife, depending on how #####y she's been.
