Wife and I watched Wolf of Wall Street last night. She this morning said she had a lot of crazy dreams, including one in which I was banging lots of hot hookers and doing drugs. In the dream she says she was really mad and was packing her things to leave, but I'm pretty sure I sensed a little excitement in her eyes as she described all of this. Do I take that as an invitation to go for it?

I had crazy-scary True Detective dreams last night. This doesn't answer your question but your post reminded me.

Yeah, I definitely did. I was very skeptical as I really don't like the two main cast members, but like everyone else I was just blown away by Matthew McNoideahowtospellthis, and Woody Harrelson was nearly as good, too. I found the direction, the sets, the feeling of place, the use of light, just spectacular. Oh, and the creepiness. Woke up this morning disappointed that I couldn't watch more episodes.

It's hard to imagine that anything can beat The Wire for me, but I'm considering whether I like this better than Breaking Bad and think I might.

This all started because you said you felt bad for St Louis Bob that he had to eat Mexican food in St Louis. I've never been to St Louis but I can't imagine the Mexican food there is bad enough to warrant your pity.

I've never had good Mexican in St Louis, but the last time I was there I was 15 and didn't know #### about food.

Sat outside with the wife for 3 hours. Drank and played cards. Then we made steaks. She is adamant about watching some bootleg DVD of Anchorman 2 she bought from a coworker (despite me showing her that I can stream every ####ing movie in two mouse clicks).

Needless to say I'm watching old Mad Men episodes on freeprojecttv while this 3-coiler of a movie plays in the background. Can't believe she still doesn't listen to me.
