GM's thread about nothing (31 Viewers)

It's our 19th (bronze) wedding anniversary next week. Save it Tanner.
:lmao: wtf?
:lmao: :lmao: I know your stance on gifts, GB. I wouldn't have spent so much but an unexpected check showed up in the mail today so I figured wtf. Plus every year we remain married means we haven't killed each other and that deserves to be celebrated IMO.
 I have a stance on gifts? When did this happen?
Spouse gifts, yes.

I might be thinking of another guy with an awesome cat shirt though.

 No clue. Diamonds suck but nothing about gifts in general.

#### cancer. Five years wasn't long enough with my dog.
Oof, sorry Henry.
Thanks. At least she got a few years with us. Old family tried to put her down because they were moving. Vet took their money and gave them ashes from his grill and found a shelter.
Awesome vet.
Agreed. We kept going to him because we knew he'd save her no matter what. Having him tell us it was over... at least we knew there was nothing to do.

Some people asked for updates when Ham found out what happened to his son, so they wouldn't have to venture into the thread. Here you go:

So I just heard from the Medical Examiner, and this is what she said. We have to request a full Autopsy Report, but here's the gist.

Anyone have any knowledge - or questions that we should ask or research, by all means.

His heart was inflamed, consistent with Myocaridtis (as we suspected).

He had inflammation in his right lung and esophagus too. And he had Influenza A - the flu.

I quizzed her about what happened, and why and she essentially told me that it's random and rare in her experience (she's seen in 3 times in 5 years with kids, no apparent rhyme or reason) - but he had the flu, it spread to his lung and upper respitory system and somehow into his heart.

By the time he showed serious symptoms, his heart was infected.

He died of a heart attack or arrthymia caused by the heart's reaction to the virus.

Doctor said that also in her experience, some people are prone and less likely to beat it. She saw drug addicts have it severely and fully recover, while she's seen otherwise healthy kids like Connor die of it.

Our 4 year old had vomiting and diarrhea and shook it just as Connor got sick, so it could be the same virus that one had with mild symptoms for 48 hours and the other died from.

Anyone has knowledge or can think of follow-up to ask, please do.
So that's just, you know, pretty terrifying.
So horrible.

Any thoughts on Homeland? I'm 27 minutes into Episode 1. Seems interesting. It helps that I could jerk off to watching Morena Baccarin read the phone book.

The appraisal came in too low on our new house today, which caused Angrywife to go into full meltdown. Interestingly, she had a long talk with PR chick about the whole thing this afternoon since I was an insensitive jerk about her feelings.

BOC Frosty is my favorite Frosty! Thanks GB! The vibrator was a nice touch. Oh and the "Son of God" DVD. That should get some real play in my house, because I'm all Jesus-y and all that.

Thanks again GB :banned:

Today is my parents' 58th anniversary.

That's a long ####ing time.
 My parent's just rocked their 47th at the end of May. Every night at 5pm my mom brings my dad a brandy manhattan. Apparently that's the secret

ETA and the understanding that whomever files for divorce gets the kids.

Smart move. In 30 years you can just paint it gold and wa la.
:lmao: :lmao: :finger: Thanks to the Beerhole guys for not bringing this up. Pretty sure she was wearing those earrings the entire time. SEE??!!! I KNOW WHAT I'M DOING!
:lmao: I asked her where she got them. She said she wasn't sure. OH SNAP!!

Thanks. Went more peacefully than any animal I've ever seen. Gave her a huge amount of morphine before the car ride of doom.
Sorry man. That story about your vet was so heartwarming. I got a combined 5 years with my Akita/Collie Kona and my Chocolate Lab/Newfie mix Miss Cleo. Cancer can go suck on muffler coming out of a dragon's asssssssssssss.

Go rescue another one. I'll do it if you do.

Thanks to Frosty for the box of crap!! Kayden Kross is hot, and I love The Americans (suck it Tanner).
:hifive:

Put me on the sausage list.
That sausage is outstanding.

Also, just googled Kayden Kross. She is comely.
How do we feel about the word "fetching"?
Depends.

"She looks fetching in that dress." Not so much.

"Woman, you best be fetching me a beer and a sammich." Yes
