Terribly within a 25 mile radius...you can sometimes catch places slipping a few weeks after the derby ends (I got a candle wood suites in nearby Indiana for normal price at the end of May) but otherwise be prepared to pay 3,4,5x normal price if you can even find a room now. My buddy recently booked some rooms at a red roof in in Louisville for like $220 a night if that gives you any idea

I don't think anybody reads these, but just wanted to say that I suffered through episode 6 of The Leftovers after realizing I had written off the show and wanted all the characters to get beat up. That episode was absolutely brilliant- the lead actress for it... astonishing performance, and stunningly written and directed. Plus Tom Noonan. I'm back in.

I know the show has its flaws and all, but I consider this a pretty significant step up from Long Island Medium and Mistresses. She even said that I was right about the show and when she's done with this one she'll give Breaking Bad a try!
