GM's thread about nothing (30 Viewers)

A couple of times on Fremont Street, I couldn't understand why chicks were checking me out. Then I realized it was the cat shirt. If I was as cool as Bob, I probably would have gotten some.

I just left a mandatory happy hour where I made lunch dates with three hot chicks all in the name of professional development. And made plans to go dove hunting with some dude at his family ranch. You guys really should try this whole community leadership thing.
God that sounds like a lot of talking to people. I'd be dead within the week.

Good point.

Interestingly, I seem to be able to make lunch appointments and happy hours with movers and shakers all over the community with a minimal amount of effort. Yet, a particular member of the FFA can't seem to find the time for me.

Ready for happy hour at Jardin Corona almost any time. Oh, wait.

Mohinga is considered by many to be the national food of Myanmar.

I don't know if that looks delicious or horrible. Might depend upon how drunk you are. Is that an eyeball on the left?

I'm going to guess that that's an olive
The main ingredients of mohinga are chickpea flour and/or crushed toasted rice, garlic, onions, lemongrass, banana tree stem, ginger, fish paste, fish sauce and catfish in a rich broth cooked and kept on the boil in a cauldron. It is served with rice vermicelli, dressed and garnished with fish sauce, a squeeze of lime, crispfried onions, coriander, spring onions, crushed dried chilli and, as optional extras, crispy fried fritters such as split chickpeas (pè gyaw) (ပဲကြော်), urad dal (baya gyaw) (ဘယာကြော်) or gourd (bu thee gyaw) (ဗူးသီးကြော်) or sliced pieces of Chinese donuts (အီကြာ‌ကွေး), as well as boiled egg and fried nga hpè fish cake.

No mention of eyeballs, olives or scrotum. It's served as a breakfast dish, of course.

Looks like a snail. Maybe it's just visiting the dish

:lmao:

Sooo, I can get married and have a parrot and a bathtub full of booze and a midget shooting skittles out his butthole and it's okay? Asking for me?

GM>remember that kicker I drafted that was immediately cut? He appears to have landed on his feet in Detroit. :hifive:
FLOP - remember how I sold you on that BC kicker? Lions drafted Murrray in 1980 19 year career. Hanson in 1992 21 year career. Same deal with Freese, right? If you're a kicker and get drafted by Detroit, you're gonna have a three decade career. That team hasn't got **** right for for 57 years but GD do they know their kickers. That guy is on the street. Literally - just walked past him lying up against the curb outside Port Authority. We don't have 3rd kicker. And our 1.03 pick isn't walking through the door anytime soon.

Baby wipes are good for disinfecting iPhone bird ####, right? Any chance I'm getting the avian flu from this? The poop was blueberry colored if that helps.

ETA: I really don't get the point of autocorrect. Here, let me #### that up gor you. Wait...HTF can you NOT correct gor to for? F'n Apple.

IB and I are rocking Blake Bortles as our QB in GMTAN league this week. :hifive:
Congrats?

I bought you a present to bring with me when we meet up for wine. Its incredibly stupid, but I laughed and it made me think of you. Roverkid approved too.
Re: Blake Bortles - I was trying to be positive.

Re: wine and gift - Immensely curious. We need to make a plan. Let me know your schedule. We have my stepmother in town tomorrow through Saturday, then Mr. krista's parents in town next Thurs-Mon. Maybe after work Mon, Tues or Wed next week if you're going to be working downtown?

I am generally free wed and Thurs nights after work in seattle. Don't get your hopes up...this thing cost $3.99

Oh, and my depression never lasts. I leaned on the 20-somethings, and they reminded me what great friends they really are, even though I don't see them as much as I used to.

Announce: I passed up Jim Beam Suite tickets (ambivalent) to take a hot mom out for drinks. Big deal for me to, like, actually try to date women my own age instead of banging 25 year olds. Had a wonderful time, great conversation, walked around Flop's neighborhood, lined up a date for weekend.

Major milestone for (formerly broken hearted) single dad guy. I'm all EPL, K4!

(Not really but I am :excited: )

I've been dipping my toes in the dating pool for several weeks but this is the first time my heart's been a flutter since...yeah, I'm middle aged, I can't actually remember when. It's been a long time.

Also, made out beside the subway entrance, sloppy college style. Classic NYC scene, and classy.

:pickle:

ETA: I swear it's not me it's this GD phone

sounds great.

hope she doesn't get all stabby.

This is like losing your favorite pair of jeans and then a couple years later when you run into a crazy chick you used to date and get drunk and take her home you find them at her house where you left them, and you put them on as you're running out of the house because she starts talking about having a relationship.

still fits.
