GM's thread about nothing (18 Viewers)

I don't know what's worse, that I'm kinda sorta defending Katy Perry or that middle aged white dudes fail to grasp that the SB halftime show isn't tailored for them.
Yeah. The annual halftime show debate is awful. Show accomplished exactly what they're shooting for. At the place I was, the only time that the wives and kids were paying attention was during halftime.

I put off my no-wine February for one day due to Super Bowl (will extend through March 1 instead). TPW for tomorrow and beyond sincerely appreciated.

According to my 5 year old daughter, I'm drinking "fish beard".

Band name.
Love Two Hearted...
He watched them holding themselves with their noses into the current, many trout in deep, fast moving water, slightly distorted as he watched far down through the glassy convex surface of the pool its surface pushing and swelling smooth against the resistance of the log-driven piles of the bridge. At the bottom of the pool were the big trout. Nick did not see them at first. Then he saw them at the bottom of the pool, big trout looking to hold themselves on the gravel bottom in a varying mist of gravel and sand, raised in spurts by the current.

Way too drunk to understand this.

PATRIITS!

LOLLOL Me too. I just have half of the thing memorized.

That was a really fun super bowl. It's kind of lost with everything else but that dude who made the interception at the end made a really, really great play getting around the pick and in position for the pick.

Yeah, he's completely on his own there too. I thought it was a well-designed play, prob. not the best time for it.

It's also important to not forget that Pete Carroll is a truther.

My friend told me about the truther thing tonight. I don't think I knew that. Looking forward to looking it up tomorrow.

Since I'm just an infrequent pop-in to this thread, apologies if this has already been noted but Tim's thread is one of the best developments this board has ever seen.

I'm not sure if Scooterguy last night was "special", a foreigner, both or other. He got lucky picking up three really drunk guys that all just won a lot of money though.

K4, welcome to sober February. Hold me.

Just unbelievable to me. I've gone to a handful of Knicks and Yankees games with the guy, Haven't seen him (or Koya) for 4 years or so, but just brutal.

I mentioned it in the other thread... never did, but I always just felt I'd get to meet the guy here in NYC and completely enjoy him.

no hyperbole, one of the posters here who I respected the most for being consistently smart, informed, thoughtful and funny. a dude I would've been thankful to have called a friend if I had ever met him.

####### awful.

I was going to come in here this morning and complain about a nagging pain that is really just part of growing older. Glad I didn't.
