GM's thread about nothing (2 Viewers)

Nothing else...just a big old plate of bacon.
I wish you were my dad.
What's it cost to adopt a perfectly healthy white woman?
I tried already. It's pricey.I assume by "healthy white woman" you mean "teenager from Thailand", right?
With all the turmoil over there now, I bet it's buy one get one free. Can we come out retirement for the Eat Off of what? That KFC monstrosity seems like a perfect meal for GM v. Shuke.

Shuke quit. Hard to believe, but he tapped out and it's an end of an era.

My lunch appointment canceled today so I found myself at my usual spot, the grocery store salad bar. I'm out of salad dressing so I'm mulling over the choices looking for something new when a lady in her 50's approaches me:

Hick: S'cuse me, are you a manager?

Me: (Am I wearing a blue shirt with a logo on it?) No.

Hick: Well you could be! You're all duded up!

Me: Thanks.
pics of you as a manager?

Just talking to a co-worker who said, "they must think I'm stupid, but I'm not".

Seems like everytime somebody says this, it turns out they are indeed stupid.

I know a guy that always says "my dad may have raised an idiot, but it was my brother". He too is an idiot.

Found myself driving to Jack in the Box at 11pm last night for not one, but TWO sourdough jacks. I held off on getting any fries. I'm on a diet.

My kids are working on a study guide. The questions are all about industrialization/inventions.

One of them is "Where and when did the Wright Bros make the first powered flight?"

This kid says "I can't find the answer. There are 3 answers in the book: Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, and Orville.

Which one is it?"

munchies?
That played a small part in it....I was treated to a big breakfast early in the day by my co-workers. My lady makes my lunch for me every day, but she's out of town so I've just been eating carrots and apples and oranges at work for lunch. I'm far too lazy to make my own sandwich. So breakfast and the snacks held me over just fine. After work, I had an hour long boot camp class. After that, I showered and met my buddy out downtown for beers. We were going to eat, but never got around to it. On my way home, the hunger pains began. For some reason, Sourdough Jacks are my achilles heel. I don't know how or why I started eating them, but about 2 years ago, I tried my first and I've been hooked ever since. It's got a hold over me like a bad drug. I honestly think I might need some rehab eventually. I don't even like fast food. I never order anything else, really. But man...when the Sourdough Jack pops into my brain, I begin to shake and crave and the car literally steers itself into the 24 hour Jack in the Box by my house. There's one by my house and one by my office. If both burn down on the same day, you might want to phone the fire department and report me. Just saying....And yeah, munchies were a part of it too. :bag:

I have the boys tonight. Having a birthday dinner for my sister. Saturday I have a free night. I'm not sure what I'm going to do, but I do have a free room coupon to the Casino....

I also have a free night Sunday. And Monday, for that matter. Normally, Monday's are mine, but I'm taking the boys to Detroit on Tuesday morning for a week and wanted their mom to have a last night with them before they leave.

Technically it was Kill Devil Hill, NC.

Awww, thanks Early! What a weekend! Jefferson The Caregiver took some pictures and uploaded them to flicker. For anyone who cares, here's his link.

Good times had by all. My oldest son was the life of the party, dancing to every song. His brother was outside the entire night playing kickball. Both now want to move to Michigan.
