GM's thread about nothing (8 Viewers)

I mentioned this the other day at :e:, but I feel like my posting the last couple months has not been very good. Terrible, in fact.Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can break out of this slump?
Check the tops of your kitchen cabinets for hidden weed.

You've had me chuckle pretty good a few times lately.....quantity has waned of late though. Of course, it's a little hard for someone like me to keep track of umm, various identities.
The timeouts have really eroded my brand, it's a constant struggle just to stay level. Maybe I'll ask if I can get my old name back.

There is a little bit in the freezer...
If you tell me you have freeze pops in there too, then I say pack a bowl and I'll be right over! You're slump is over!!!

I don't partake personally, but do you want it? We're out of popsicles, though. If you can stop by Trader Joe's and get some strawberry popsicles, we might have a date tonight.

You're doing god's work here, GB. Leggs are the best womanly feature on the planet.
Amen  Mrs. SLB is 5'11, when I first saw those sticks, it was all over.
:hifive:5'11" 23 year-old keeps coming over in short shorts. Impossible to resist. Also working on my first 6 footer...
I've noticed that this generation had a bunch of tall chicks, man am I jealous. Mrs. SLB was a tremendous exception back in the day. All of my clients thought she was a model.

Re-upped my FBG subscription today. Worth it for the subscriber contest alone, really. I also use the Game Predictor as a jumping-off place for picking NFL sides and totals.

last year I decided to save a few bucks and get a 3-year subscriptionThis year I dropped out of every league I was in because of religious concerns

This is true. And height seems to vary by area. Uptown Dallas is ridiculous. I'm 6'3" which doesn't seem that tall anymore. Just barely tall enough to date some of these girls.

I'm 6'0 and that is nothing these days. At Cal's grade school carnival last spring there had to be 20 girls taller than me. Of course my older friends still call me "big guy". In 30 years kids are going to be 8 foot tall.

Can you unpack this a little? I'm intrigued.
ah, I was just teasing. Jeep posted something to this effect in the, "Is fantasy football gambling thread"...and i did just bow out of the illustrious HFFL league this year...but this was pure coincidence.
I had a league owner quit the league because of his renewal in faith and his concerns about gambling in relationship to that.Tat started a thread before I could really work out the wording for a really nice fishing trip.

I decided to stream stuff from my PC through my PS3 again, and after a couple of hours of futility realized that my Qwest Actiontec PK5000 modem simply doesn't allow it (and no firmware upgrades). So I plugged in my nicer Netgear router that has been collecting dust, and sure enough it works great.I think I'm ready to start the torrent experiment here to see if I can get by without DirecTV. I'm thinking yes.
Do you have TVersity?
Tried this out last night. Was able to stream content from my PC to the PS3. Hurt Locker was pretty good using this. The picture was terrific and I even had decent surround. I don't like the layout of this program, and getting it to add certain RSS feeds to the library takes some patience at times, but it does work. I had to reboot for it to stream anything the first time (save audio) because the codecs didn't work without it.The one Youtube video I streamed looked pretty terrible, but it wasn't a high quality file at all. I wonder if all content from Hulu and Youtube will just look really grainy?Anyone tried any of the other streaming/aggregator options?

Whoever moved into the house after you probably got a housewarming present.
I sold to to some friends of ours and never heard anything. After finding the first one I was very thorough which is how I found the bag on top of the kitchen cabinets. Plus the house was only 750 square feet, there wasn't a whole lot of other places to hide stuff.
My best friend moved into a house that had a drawer full of pubes in the master bathroom. Not just a couple that may have made their way in. More like, "I'm going to shear myself, save it all in here, and forget to clean it out when I move".About a year later, I was re-financing my house and was going on and on to her about the crush I had on my mortgage banker. Turns out, that was the guy she bought the house from.

Joe T gave up everything to blog.

If I understand this correctly, did you try "Refresh Media Library" after adding anything new? I don't bother with YouTube or anything else, we pretty much only use it for TV/movie .avi.

Did you ask her for the pubes?

Yes, multiple times. The only thing that worked was 60 Minutes (audio only), so it seemed logical that the codecs weren't working. Rebooted and WA LA.. I can stream most things. One Youtube video wouldn't work, but meh.. no big loss there.I don't like this thing's clunky file structure. It puts some things in multiple locations and sometimes doesn't distinguish between streams and items physically on the machine.

so me and Mrs T and our youngest are at an early dinner. We each order a mexican smoothie and she blurts out that she wants in my FF league that I'm starting with a group of our friends. I told her she was full of #### and that she'd embarass herself. So, testing the waters, I threw out "What does PPR mean then?", she replied, point per reception. F me

Pretty sure you've just found your league champ. Oh well, you might as well get her in the office NCAA bracket too.

I think it's over. You're done. I'd probably bow out gracefully with a classy, "Goodbye FFA" thread.

Strawberry popsicles? There are three really good popsicle flavors that stand above all others:1. Banana2. Root Beer3. LimeIn no particular order. Then you probably have orange, and then all the other crap.

So, I've been puppy sitting since Sunday: 3-4 month old "Smoke" labrador retriever. Still says "black" on the papers, but they decided it was worth it to pay a few hundred dollars more because it was a little lighter in color than the normal black labs.First few days were good. My older lab put him in check a couple of times, but he was fine... except for that one spot under the chin :goodposting: . He pretty much hung out near me and stayed under my feet. That all changed 2 nights ago. After pretty much having him housetrained in one night, he had an accident. I got a little loud and he got a little more scared of me. I guess my lab decided to play "good cop" to my bad, and they became best buds. Well, instead of being scared to roam the house when he was scared of the older dog, getting into every single thing imaginable and playing with all objects not nailed to the walls, he now believes he's king of the castle and I'm starting to remember why puppies aren't all that great most of the time. It seems as if he can sense when I'm settled and relaxed because it's then that he springs into action.I went to take a shower this morning and left him to eat his breakfast. I returned downstairs to find shoes everywhere, food overturned (this is one of those bowls which supposedly won't turn over), the water bowl (which weighs more than him) overturned, garbage can toppled, and he rolled my entire kitchen in toilet paper. This took him 5 minutes, tops, as I knew it would be a good idea to rush through the shower. He was bored with all of that by the time I got back downstairs as he was chewing on the broom.
You realize your dog is putting the puppy up to this, don't you? Paybacks for whatever slight his dog brain may imagine are, well......

A. Have you gotten a divorce during the period in which you have posted here?
:lmao: It wasn't because of the FFA, but she popped up here while she was in bloodhound mode during our separation and made a few posts trying to humiliate me (as if I needed the help) in a thread I thought I had cleverly disguised for advice. Of course, she was cheating on me but I guess she was trying to ease her own conscience by bringing me down. Fun times!
