Well. Just got done watching The Bachelorette with my wife, sister, mom and sisters friends.

Good news is I'm still straight.

Bad news is I'm not so sure about that after watching tonight.

Chris > call me :lmao:

Oh, and I'm back on boxed white wine.
I missed all but the last 20 minutes or so. Caught Ali bawling as Frank sailed away.
I was able to hit at 45% tonight predicting Frank's lines. Lord knows he gave the viewer plenty of time to ruminate. What a tool. His GF is perfect for him. They can spend hours and hours ordering take out together, analyzing everyting to death. Fun couple.
Hey GB. I can somewhat understand a situation where you would watch The Bachelorette, but there really is no good reason to talk about it afterward. Let's keep that in mind going forward, shall we?
I'm with HJS on this one.

I'm going to get a tetanus shot in about 15 minutes.
I should probably tag along.
Any more pics of your fine ### lady friend, Destiney?
Also, has Li'l Homer overruled your brain and led you back for round 2 of sexytime?
Nope. She was at the bar Sunday and I didn't make any attempts at sexytime. Hopefully it's a one shot deal. So to speak.
I miss her already.

Going for an optermoptipus appointment in a couple of hours. Might get new glasses. What kind of frames should I get?

Note: I'm near-sighted so I don't wear glasses 24/7

Note note: No reason to start a new thread like Woz.

Me too. I'm going with artsy fartsy glasses. The one thicker (but no too thick) squarish black plastic frames. :kicksrock:

I love freeze pops. I love all the different colors they come in. Much like a woman, when I meet them they are like ice. But slowly, they begin to melt. I pretty much break them down with my gentle, yet authoratative fingers. I suck the juice and life out of them. Sometimes, a little drip will run down my chin and I'll lap it up with my tongue, other times I just let the drip go. Oh freeze pops, I love you so.

That's beautiful man. :D

Any recipes that you'd recommend? We are gone all day tomorrow so I just made the middle part of a untried/new recipe called shepherds pie. It's just ground beef with vegetables (I used fresh carrots, peas, green beans etc along with a little seasoning )that I'll throw over au gratins and bake when we get in...but my daughter took a bite of the middle stuff and sneered and did the yuck face.
I :hifive: Shepherds' Pie.This is always a hit when I make it for friends who have had babies, etc:

Tradd Street Chicken

(I actually get the package of ~4 breasts on the bone from the store, boil it, then peel the chicken off. I think it works better. But, feel free to use boneless skinless breasts if you're pressed for time)
The Sheperds' Pie was eatable. I will probably not make it again, but it certainly was not on the line of the pancakes or meatloaf. The corn bread on the other hand ended up trashed. You win some you lose some... Thanks for the link. I'll browse it and see what I can find.

UGH!!!! Today was the first time I have worked out in close to a month. A month ago, I would run 5 miles (40 - 45 minutes) and run a Jacob's Ladder for 15 minutes everyday plus I'd do a weight class, spin class, combat class or yoga class.

My grandmother's chicken casserole was a staple in college. I haven't made it in a while, but (total memory here):

6-8 Chicken breasts, boneless, skinless, boiled til done and cut into bite sized pieces

8 oz (I think) sour cream

Pretty sure it was 2 small cans of cream of chicken

Poppy seeds (I never measured)

Mix ingredients into Pyrex pan and heat at 400 until bubbly.

Crush ritz crackers, spread on top, and these days, I'd use spray butter to coat. Place in oven for another few minutes to brown crackers.

I could live off that stuff back then.

Edit: Oh, You can chop some water chestnuts as well. Cream of mushroom, cream of brocolli, etc. work as well.

I wanted to start a thread on this show but figured I was the only one watching this masterpiece.
Care to enlighten us?
TiVo the show off of MTV. Kid is a high school nerd that is hung like a baby elephant. His parents show him how to get a girl to give him a hand job over dinner conversation.

I hate to bring negativity to this thread, but this show stinks. And this is coming from someone who likes foul humor.Childrens' Hospital on Adult Swim is the best new show right now fwiw.

The term crapping in your own bed comes to mind here.

I really need to quit this place, but don't know how.

Way to busy at work, looking at a promising promotion here in the next few months. Home life is a little crazier now with 2 kids.

It's been fun, but time to move on.

Anyone with advice? Larry?

Shouldn't you be asking Mr. Ham?
