GM's thread about nothing (39 Viewers)

I woke up in the middle of the night last night, my head pounding, and realized it is my 15th wedding anniversary next Thursday.A quick Google search shows that for the 15th crystal is the traditional gift and glass is the modern gift.Should I go with Irish crystal or Irish glasses?
Holy #### reading this just reminded me that our 14th was Tuesday and the wife and I both forgot :bag:
Even if she forgot, and she didn't, when she remembers, in her mind it will morph into, he forgot, and I'm going to see how long it takes him to remember. Even if you remember first.
nah, the wife is pretty cool about stuff like this. She'll laugh it off but of course blame me for not reminding her
Go get some jewelry, put it on the dog's collar, and tell her is was there the whole time, waiting on her to notice. WALANo, I'm not married.

How about this?

I'm too cheap plus the kids would find it and break it.

Traditional + modern = Three-way with an Irish chick named Crystal. :moneybag:

Question for GM - as an ex-Portlander, I'm not up to speed anymore on the best venues at which to view Harmless Visual Stimuli. I'm thinking I should do better than Mary's Club and Club 205 when I'm in town next weekend, although Union Jacks wasn't bad last time I was there. Any suggestions?

I'm asking in this threat because I searched "Portland Strip", and the first thread that came up was this one. Should have known.
Where are you going to be staying? I can answer better from there.I hate "Mary's". I mean, I abhor, detest and loath it. Cramped, crowded and crappy. Union Jacks isn't too bad, but it's low brow for sure. Downtown in general is a poor place to hit the strip clubs. There's also Magic Gardens, but I wouldn't send Peens there.

Top of the line talent can be found at Dolphin II and Stars, but both are out in Beaverton.

Finding a chick named Crystal should be too hard around here.

I wonder what Hoss is doing right now? Probably still on the hunt for JoeT
Oh, I forgot to tell you guys..... :lmao: :lmao: Cosjobs thought Hoss and Truck were the same guys. :lmao:
:lmao:
How is that even possible?Edit: Nevermind, Cosjobs... that's how.
I wish I could have recorded the conversation we had regarding this. It was priceless. It took him about ten minutes to understand what I was trying to tell him. I was driving home from work. I almost drove into the guard rail nine times for mercy.

I saw these cute keychains where there's a picture etched inside the glass. I'm getting a few made with the kids pics in them for the grandparents. Too cheap?

Jun 30, 2010 ... Inside the Stats has been down due to a lightning strike that destroyed the server.
Whose horrible alias is this?
$10 on Tat.
Think fatter, drunker, stupider and more aloof.Thorn>hi. Plz to play your Scrabble turn. TIA.
so you're saying jeep is fishing us :goodposting:
I would never. It's just that I happen to know that this alias has been offered to a few people, and based on its current un-funny and Woz-hating, it's a pretty easy guess.Although, now that I type that aloud, I suppose it could be any number of people.

The immediate post after this one won't make any sense whatsoever. Whatever the hell it was I thought I was posting here initially was dumb. But what's not dumb is what's followed. It's a collective work, with contributions from some of this boards best and brightest. In here, you'll find wedding updates from me, adventures in the life of St. Louis Bob, a romantic epic from Homer Simpson, a recap of Bonzai's trip to Germany to watch their squad play in the World Cup, Cosjobs' masterpiece and snaptastic, witty replies by the best online miscreants I know...Bob Sacamano, Tanner Boyle, Truck, Shuke, Pickles, Krista, YSR, Fatguy, Boston Fred, Ferris, Frosty, Stu, Thorn, Gad, Kev, Charv and if I missed anyone, please let me know. This thread is safeguarded by Rudnicki. I'm plenty cheap (and easy) these days. Link?
http://www.crystallizeit.com/products.shtmleta - this place ships to the US for under $20.

I'm sure there's a US company doing the same.

Yep, here:

I'm transitioning into my second pair of flip flops for summer '10. I'm not sure I like them as much as my last pair, but they sure smell a lot better.

Want to get rich? We should invent the odorless flip flops. How do we do that?

I've had the same pair for at least 6 or 7 years. Maybe longer because I think I bought them before I had kids and my oldest is 8.Don't smell. :goodposting:

Maybe it's just my feet, but I run through about 2-3 pairs a summer. But I wear them just about every day.

Same here. The only time I don't is at work and when I run. If you're wearing yours to work, that's why. Stress sweat.

 I'm not a flip flop guy, but I do love slip on loafer types with no socks, so the problem should be similar, and I don't really have any odor problems with them. Maybe febreeze them everyday?
