GM's thread about nothing (33 Viewers)

I'll take that cornbread ressipee if you got it. I did a jalapeno cornbread stuffing the last two years (Redmond Longhorn > Hi). I got it right the first year, but I screwed something up last year and it was atrocious. Nice job on the jog. I did 35 minutes on the eliptical and finally sweated out all the booze, nicotine and herbs induced over a 5 day stretch. I haven't touched a drop since Sunday (which really means early monday) and still could smell the toxins leaving my pores and hitting the gym floor. Hoping to match your 3-5 days a week pace. Maybe we'll be able to beat the elderly or the team with a midget on Amazing Race when teams sprint to the finish. Was convinced I was done with booze for good Monday morning when I reported to work at 10:30am and immediately went fetal on the office couch. But tomorrow is Thanksgiving and, well....I just can't lay off the booze with my family.
Midgets can't run fast, but I hear they have endurance. Could be close.Mexican Corn Bread1 cup whole milk1 cup self rising, yellow cornmeal2 eggs, well beaten1 can cream corn1/2 lb hamburger meat (probably going with sausage next time1 onion, chopped fine1/2 lb sharp cheddar cheese2-4 jalepenosGreese cast iron skillet and preheat on stove. Preheat oven to 350Mix cornmeal, eggs, milk, and cornSprinkle cornmeal on hot skillet, then coat the bottom of the pan with a little of the mixture aboveAdd onions, peppers, meat and cheeseCover with the rest of the mixture aboveBake at 350 for 45-50 minutesAllow to cool and the bread should not stick when removing. My great aunt wrote "sweet milk" on the recipe, but the first time I did this, I didn't realize little old ladies in the country referred to whole milk as sweet milk. I used Eagle Brand condensed milk. I don't know how I screwed it up the second time, but I did. I'm thinking I might not have used self rising cornmeal. I did ok last night and should be able to play around with the recipe now.The peanut oil in the basement should be over 400 degrees now, so I guess it's time to take the bird out of the freezer and cook it up real nice. It's going to be the best turkey day ever!!!! Happy Thanksgiving!

Absolutely killed in poker last night. I didn't even get a chance to check out the talent.

I'm lucky I didn't get arrested though since in my elation I drove half way home before I realized I didn't have my lights on. :P

Cal right now, "Oh, I can't watch the :e: one only the football one. Oh good, the football one, thanks daddy."

Pardon me, I'm going to go mix a Molotov cocktail.

Lunch at my folks' in SC and now en route to Knoxville. I have whittled the Hoarder portion of Thanksgiving down to one night. I've been told that they have "cleaned out" some of the stuff. Pics possibly forthcoming.

<<Pins and needlesPS happy turkey day!

We ate at my parents house at 1:30 this afternoon. And then drank and played euchre until 9. I just got home and cracked a 16oz Miller Lite. Me and the old lady are going to knock back a bottle of peppermint schnapps and play some cribbage.

I would be content for the rest of my life with a ton of food, beer and a deck of cards

..and SOMEONE who can play sheepshead :blackdot:

Alright Hotch! I love it. Your reservation is confirmed for the most spectacular day of the year. More details to follow. Feel free to help me recruit some of the non-believers. You know who I mean. Talking about Race, White,*Joe, etc. See you soon!
I would invite him here but I think he would fit in a little too perfectly not to mention worlds colliding, blah, rah, flah...*Editors noteThese are nick names.Race or Racin=Jason, he likes fast cars and fast womenWhite=Bill, aka Billy White Shoes Johnson
Hotch?

I managed to cut myself deeply enough today to warrant a trip to the doctor's office, but they didn't end up giving me stitches. I could make out muscle fibers and individual blood vessels after the bleeding became a little more controlled.

If I get in a fight at the Iron Bowl, luckily it was my left hand so I can still faint the jab and come with the haymaker with my right hand. My Auburn sister still better watch her mouth.

How are my uranium friends doing today?
HardETA

One more time, GM do you like this gambling maneuver?

http://forums.footballguys.com/forum/index...&p=12597059
I've only looked at that for a second or two and its way to complicated for my little brain to comprehend. I'll try it again.
sorry?
Excellent maneuver. :blackdot:
:hophead:

Kept the family stuff to a minimum. However, when my brother called back late to taunt me about the Longhorns' loss, I got him off the phone politely, then sent him a text calling him an ###-hat.

You know that PSA with the blond in the cafeteria while "I am beautiful" plays in the background? I would totally like to take advantage of her insecurities.

Is it too late to buy Uranium? What about Plutonium?

Tat and jeep, gllll today. I always get those two Alabama schools mixed up so I'm not sure which one I want to win, but I hope you guys get it done.

I've been pet sitting my son's two new hamsters this week. Went to feed them yesterday and discovered one was missing. Just gone. No freaking idea how the little Houdini could have escaped from the cage or where it could possibly be now. :lmao:

Tomorrow should be fun. :( :bag:
