After she and I had been dating for a while, she started a new job. Made these "great" friends in this job. However, she wouldn't tell them we were together as a couple (and we lived together). That's one thing if it is the occasional Happy Hour, but totally another thing to have them over quite often and me have to be "just the roommate". I couldn't even be myself around these girls because I didn't want to slip up and accidently "out" her. When they left, I could be myself. Whenever they were over, I had to go back in the closet per se. Hence, revolving closet door. I should have never put up with it. I should have realized her friends came first before me. Oh, well. Love is blind. I can assure you I'll never go through that situation again. Lesson learned.

She came out to her parents FOR THIS LADY after having known her less than two weeks. Ouch. So yeah, I'd say this lady won't put up with it. Everyone is shocked at how fast they are moving. 1) Worlds stay separate. It's pretty much an unwritten code.2) The chances of a straight dude hitting for the other team seem remote. But I do know a guy from HS who slept with a guy I worked with in college. I don't think anyone else knows about this (us coworkers only knew about this because the guy has a big mouth). His whole "thing" was to try and turn straight dudes, if only temporarily, and it worked sometimes.But my semi-educated guess is that women "switch sides" more often than men, but that it's fairly rare for either gender.
