It's a thin line. If I switch out the pants on a two piece outfit for a different size, is it shoplifting? What if the pants didn't belong with the top at all?

I went to a meeting Tuesday night at the high school about the senior trip next year to Europe. 16 year old wants to go even if he has to pay for it entirely himself. So after the meeting hubby and I agree he can go and we'll pay half. We have until Friday to sign him up and get an earlybird discount. Son calls from school yesterday asking if I signed him up online yet cause a lot of kids are already signed up. I log on to do it and it's already full.

Every year, EVERY YEAR, I increase the withholding amount to the state and I still somehow end up owing money.

Good news! I emailed the teacher organizing the trip and asked him to place my son on the waiting list in case anyone cancels. He said to try the site again as they decided to add 10 seats. He's in. Looks like a great tour, I'm so excited for him! Can't wait to tell him.

Every year, EVERY YEAR, I increase the withholding amount to the state and I still somehow end up owing money.

It seems like the way to go would be to try decreasing the withholding amount.

I went to the UK when I was 17 for my HS graduation present...alone. I don't even want my 18 year old to have a driver's license.
