GM's thread about nothing (36 Viewers)

So, I'm trying to find the song that is in the Empire Records movie that wasn't on the soundtrack.

After a few minutes with Wikipedia and YouTube, I find it:

Do men really notice things like nail polish and earrings? BEyond nails actually being dirty, would you care? And pedicures? I don't think men know women have feet.

I got my daughter off of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and into Phineas and Ferb, which might be a top 5 show on TV right now so I'm pretty happy most of the time.
There was about a one month transition from Sponge Bob to Phineas and Ferb before iCarly took over. I'm still lobbying for them to start watching P&F again as it makes me giggle as well.
Exact same transition for my then 3yo. There was some Kid vs Kat in there too, IIRC.The Regular Show is ####### insane.

I'm in Cleveland!
:excited: I'm originally from Cleveland. Please don't judge me based on that. Then again I'm from Cleveland. :bag:
Worst Haiku ever.
I agree. Last line should read "America's Armpit"
Does it ever stop raining here?My god, it's so green!Fireflies flash among the trees.

My link
I think 'link' would be sufficient. We know it's yours.

actually I like your way better, because I don't think it, I know it.

Yes. Clear sign of good grooming habits.
:goodposting:Early - might be something that we only admit on message boards....but we always want our women to look good...no matter when. At the grocery, walking the kids in the neighborhood, etc.

:goodposting: I somehow get side tracked like this also and end up watching videos of bands for hours at times.

Last week I got stuck watching these guys for awhile.

Disclaimer - I'm old and this is a band from my hometown.

Normally, I'd just read right over this one, but we have fun kidding my buddy's wife about just saying "grocery," what I believe is just a New Orleans thing. Most people I know say, "grocery store," unless they're saying market or a completely different phrase.

It's also part of the 'whole package'. Hair, jewelry, nails, clothes etc. There's a woman I work with that is a 6.5 at best. But she always "looks nice" in terms of what she is wearing, her hair style, etc. It doesn't hide the fact that she's a butterface but I think it bumps her up to a solid 7.

I haven't heard that since I was at university or maybe in hospital.

Yes. A girl with a nice french manicure could bump up a solid 1 point on my scale. Add another point for a tongue piercing.

Feet? I assume they have them, but I don't really care. All I require is that they have small hands and low expectations.

I'm in Cleveland!
Need a guided tour?
What's there to see?
Come to Youngstown!
I apologize, but I laughed at you a little last week. Cowherd: "Sure, you could say LeBron deserves some of what he's getting, and that he should have expected it. But that doesn't mean I can't feel a little bad for the guy. I mean, you could say people who choose to live in Youngstown should expect to be unemployed and that they get what they deserve for living there, but I think we should still be a little empathetic to their plight."

Oh, another name from my summer school roster...Grafton.Sounds like some sort of blimp to me.
Is there a school policy that prohibits you from being "friends" with hot female students on FaceBook? Your current list of friends isn't very "user-friendly", if you know what I mean.

It's only 10pm? Crap. Can one of you be kind enough to bump the Drunk thread just in case I manage to stumble my way there shortly? Tomorrow is Middle East Friday, so I have that going for me. "Best by" date on Corona was set for the end of the month so I am enjoying 60 cent beers tonight. Corona isn't in my top 10, but it sure tastes good at the moment.

Keep up the good work and thanks for stopping by :banned:

:lmao: THEY'RE ONLY 13 or 14!**I'm hoping that discourages you.

Although there are several former students that I know (not FB friends) that are ridiculous.

It's 94 degrees and I'm taking my kid to the U2 concert in Baltimore tonight. He was way into them six months ago when I got tickets, but that is several lifetimes ago to a 13-year-old who now thinks they are kind of old and boring. My goal is to not fall asleep in my stadium seat if the concert goes past 11.

Another food question...going over to a friend's house on Saturday for a BBQ. He's cooking ribs and we're supposed to bring a side. I came up with baked beans or mac and cheese. Any other suggestions/recipes?
