Conversely, I've read reviews that said the new Winnie the Pooh is not horrible. At 68 minutes, seems quite tolerable. I still don't want to go. Meanwhile, the oldest is all about HP, wanted in on some It All Ends midnight showing action. #1 son, you're about to learn an abject lesson in compromise. Take your lil' sis to Pooh and you can hang with your buds for Harry. This ten-years-apart plan is finally starting to work for me.'McJose said:When my kids were little I had to take them to The Pokemon Movie. My youngest apologized for that about a year ago.A buddy and I have a fantasy baseball bet where the loser has to go see a movie (non-XXX) in the theatre of the winner's choice. I'm trailing slightly with a month to go, I would really hate to have to see this ####.'McJose said:A friend of mine who is an actual film critic posted this on FB just now:"Instead of taking your family to THE SMURFS this weekend, light $40 on fire and shake your children violently for 100 minutes to cut out the middle-man."![]()

for both posts....I haven't taken my kids to the movie theater since "Horton Hears a Who", which was so bad I just fell asleep and had to be awoken by my oldest son to tell us it was time to go. Retired from kids' movies for good after that. My ex will take them from time to time, so they don't miss out completely, but I'm out. Far too expensive and there's not a chance in hell I could sit through The Smurfs.
Coldwater Creek runs behind my parents house. Wedgwood, mentioned in the story, is on the other side of the creek. I've swam in and played ice hockey on it too many times to count as a kid.but just on my street, it was all kids who grew up ther, who are now between 40 and 48, who got cancer...Tracy Thayer- cervical cancer, Mike Zurweller just passed 6 months ago from bladder cancer, his sister Therese- breast cancer, their neighbor, Carla Dischino-cancer...plus my dad died of cancer at 57, Carol Richter and Lynn Richter- rare heart diseases-deceased, Loren Richter-early onset Alzheimer's-deceased, Nancy Level- unexplainable cerrosis-deceased...that's just 6 houses

I can't view the video from work. The new Times Beach?IRONY ALERT!!!!
Like a few of you here, I'm invested in uranium miners. I've also documented here how so many friends have had cancer or have died in the last few years. There are many more in the neighborhood that passed away earlier or beat cancer. My Aunt with cancer lives in the neighborhood. These are just the people I know and off the top of my head.
Then I see this posted on FB by a GB that lived farther up the creek in Florissant.

My Dad popped his head into my office a few minutes ago to say goodnight and I showed him the story. He said they he and Mom were just talking last night about all of the people in the neighborhood that have gotten sick.

I'm honestly kind of freaked out. If there really is something to this, and it appears there may be, I'm either ####ed soon or will live to be a hundred. That's pretty scary ####. You better start doing shots of wheatgrass.
Have you ever tried to eat an entire 10oz. box of Cheez-its? I have. It makes you thirsty and your poop orange, but otherwise no ill side effects.A solid dinner of Cheez-its, cherries, and frozen grapes tonight.

Drive to Buffalo?know what's fun to do in rochester ny? pack the #### up and leave.
I like my syrup on the side, and dunk each bite a little bit.I did for a long time. Used to have a bit of a thing about sauce and condiments. Never ate syrup, mustard, ketchup, barbecue sauce, salsa, relish, etc. until I was probably 25. I'm still not a huge syrup eater. I mostly do my pancakes with butter and a dab of syrup.Let me ask you this: Do any of you just eat a pancake with nothing on it? Plain? Cuz I don't have to put #### on a bacon.

No. You should be offended with some of the recent crap you've posted.Should I be offended that someone called me an Imp alias?

I'd check it out. My grandmother was a huge bird lover (grew up in upstate NY and spent a lot of her life in the NE including Maine)and my mom, aunt and sister share her love in it. I think birds are pretty neat and though I don't know much about 'em, I like to look at them. Seeing Bald Eagles fly overhead in Portland is one of my greatest treats in life. No, I'm not high.Anybody into bird watching?
OK, if I start that thread in the FFA I'll get laughed at for years and probably get my man card privileges revoked. But my geeky science son - GB him, not an ounce of cool in his scrawny body - is pretty pumped up we've spent the last two summers on an island with a nature preserve. He's been going out every morning taking digital photos and videos of different birds; he's making a dvd as a summer project for school. He's up to 42 distinct species.
I'll be happy to delete if this post caused to furrow your eyebrows and scratch your head.
Aren't you already in like 8 leagues with me?I would be interested in a FF league with you "people".
Absolutely no need to cap it at 14, either. We can pare down rosters a little bit, add head coaches and even consider doing a max of 3 Flex Defensive Players who can score an arseload of points instead of team defense. This would give teams more options to score if they are light elsewhere....help improve themselves, etc.Again, all just ideas at this point, but I think we could innovate and make it fun without it becoming a total farce, like LABS crazy Bizaro League Scoring System, where the worst performing players are coveted the most.:(At the risk of being terribly elitist, this (or an alias factored version of this) should be used if there are more than 14 people wanting in the league.I had a respectable participation level at some point, but took off too many weeks *(months).I've posted in this thread a ridiculous amount of times.Hey, think I'm still in the top 50!Who posted in: GM's thread about nothing

Lived there for awhile. Not much to speak of. Fantasy Island shut down yet?ETA: Artpark? I grew up in that area. Drank far too much beer and smoked far too much bud in that place until one of my friends ate too many mushrooms and climbed the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge and, well...I prefer to remember the good times, not the sad ending. Also saw Dylan there too. It's a great little venue for outdoor shows. What are you doing there?Tasker>driving through grand island. Sup?
I definitely want it. And could you send it right away, since you're sort of a health risk, I don't want to chance that I might not get the text. I jest, I honestly hope you don't die. You can send the text whenever you want. It's not like I have to masturbate tonight.'McJose said:Do not wantAnybody that DOESN'T want the XXX text my cousin sent me earlier, please say so now.
OK, gonna do all my Hippling at once.
I, too, would like to play low-stakes FF with you dickmittens.
No vacation since Halloween '09. Of course, I was unemployed, so it was sort of a vacation without money.
Almond butter>>>>>>>>>peanut butter.
Zooks>you think the hair on my head is wild? You should see my ball sack. It's like a fracking Hydra down there.
I'm not sure I believe you about the fracking Hydra. Send a pic of it to PrudeFace for verification. When the family imploded, I moved around a lot in that area until I went to college. Lived in Youngstown, Lewiston, Grand Island, Niagara Falls, Buffalo, Amherst. You name it.I can't believe FI is still open. Last I saw the place was a death trap waiting for a lawsuit.I thought you lived in Lewiston? Where on Grand Island? And no, Fantasy Island isn't closed yet...but they do have a new Mighty Taco across the street.
Fantasy Island still sucks. I used to work there along with every other kid on Grand Island. We used to scalp our employee free passes outside the gate after work.
I used to do something similar at a park I worked at. I'd walk home with $200 on busy weekends. Ah, to be 15 and morally deficient...
I just got home from work and needed to relax first.Wait I'm away for less than 24 hours and the GMTAN-PPPFFL league fills up? WTF? I would suggest entry fee by shtick bid. Everyone has to put in the $5 or whatever for the sit, but instead of money, say what prize you'd deliver to the winners. For example, I would promise to overnight the winner two live lobsters and the 2nd place finisher a Reese's tshirt. And I didn't opt out of any pictures, yet didn't receive any.![]()

Schtick in lieu of entry fees (other than what it would cost to run the site) would be awesome. Would need to have 1 person be the "escrow" so as not to ruin any surprises. Could be like GMTANFF and Secret Santa rolled into one. Hell, since I can't access the site from work, I'll throw out the following...GM, your call on what you think:Whoever ends up in the league can email me what schtick items they will provide as entry fee. What you provide will determine your draft order (i.e. The best member's items (ha ha) will get draft position 1 and the worst ones will get the last draft position. In a 12 team example, winner of the league receives items 1-6, 2nd place 7-9, 3rd place 10-12.Obviously, there is some level of honesty that will go with this....but it could really make for some good schtick.Wait I'm away for less than 24 hours and the GMTAN-PPPFFL league fills up?
