GM's thread about nothing (29 Viewers)

I. #######. HATE. LOU. HOLTZ. THAT. IS. ALL
Dr. Lou is the worst single segment on that abortion of a channel, and that's saying somethingGreat game so far
I actually just came back to post that absolutely NOTHING will get me to change the channel faster than hearing Lou Holtz give his idiotic fake pep-talk. My God, that's the most awful thing ever. I'd rather watch an hour of Progressive's Flo commercials than two minutes of Dr. Lou.

I don't get why he's still on the air.BS holding... nevermind. Thought they were going to call the TE for a hold there.

Wow...crazy stat about tonight's game:

this is the first time in the 105 year history of the MSU/LSU series that both teams are ranked.

Despite a lot of LSU fan's fears that this is a trap game, I don't see them looking past a ranked MSU team on ESPN

Too much running, too much defense...

LSU wins by at least a TD
I didn't wager much on this one, but I wouldn't mind if LSU won by a field goal instead of a TD. Also, anybody else ever been to Starkville, MS? If there is a worse college town as close to NOTHING as Starkville, MS, I'd like to hear where and why.
Apparently Starkvegas has improved alot since we were in school. I went in 98 and that place was awful. Couldn't buy cold beer, bars closed at midnight, etc. I've heard it's all changed.

This doesn't need it own thread so I'll just it here because most of the people I give a #### about come in here.Just got word that I got the job in Costa Rica I was posting about a few months ago and since I'm single, and still relatively young and don't own a home, I'm going to take it. Lucky for me I speak Spanish so I was hand picked for expanding the business in Latin America (always a good skill to learn if you have the time) and I'll get a nice promotion and raise. Going to be a long process to get working papers or citizenship but my company is helping me through it. Anyway - that's a good time to retire from the internet: :e:, hoof, etc.I'm thinking I could get in touch with most of you through Fin if he didn't die and if I'm ever back in the states again for a cornhole (Vegas maybe?).Give my best to the following if you see them (these are the guys who have helped me out with something at one point or another or just generally make me laugh): Ahrn, Truck, GM, redman, Anonymous Bob (I still don't know his FBG handle), RaiderNation, Stu, cosjobs, Saints-Man, jplvr, Sonny Lubick, Tanner, BostonFred, Oat, PIK95, and whomever else I missed. If you see LSUCK around - let him know I hope nothing but bad things happen to him and anyone he knows for as long as he may live and I'm not giving him back the fur coat I bought made out of his mother's pubic hair.I leave you with this inspirational quote from Studs: "whenevr you are confronted with a opponents, conquer it with love and slam it in a hoop with both you hands." -- jeff van gahndi:wave:
:sadbanana:We didn't even get to hang out yet homey! Congrats anyway...

Also can't believe ESPN hitched their wagon to Craig James. He just got the chop block commentary completely wrong too. Sounds like he doesn't know what it even is.

I liken to why Jerry Springer gets stellar ratings. People love watching a trainwreck.

Went to my son's 3rd grade open house tonight. There was a poster on the wall where all the kids answered the question "what will you be doing in 20 years". He wrote "I will be a fat guy with a moustache eating all day". GB setting achievable goals.

Love it.When I was in kindergarten, our teacher had us write out our responses to "Love is..." on these paper hearts for Valentines Day. There was a parents' night soon after and my parents walked the hall, looking at all of the sweet responses.Suzy Q: "Love is... hugs from my mommy and daddy"Johnny S: "Love is... cookies from my grandmother"YSR: "Love is... getting to the 6th level on Frogger". :bag:

my wife seemed to think I was somehow the inspiration for this comment, but i've never had a moustache so it couldn't be about me.

Two days in a row:

Sorry you're receiving multiple e-mails from me tonight! Calvin didn't give me his communication log today (I was gone until 12:20) so I was unable to fill it out for him.The sub reported that he did well until he was asked to do a non-preferred activity (a punctuation practice paper). Then he told her he was at a 4 and went down to Mrs. Owen's room for a long period this morning until he calmed down. He had a rough afternoon after I returned, because he didn't want to get started on his math work. This led to him packing all his supplies in his book bag and saying he was going home. He then proceeded to the door and Mrs. Owen's came down to talk to him. He spent much of the rest of the afternoon there with her to calm down.I have noticed that he always wants to take his work home now. He frequently says, "Why can't I just do this at home?" Taking his work home was a consequence for not working in class, but now it seems that he prefers it anyway. I certainly don't want to send all his work home! Any insight or suggestions on where to go from here? Thanks again for all your support,Rachel
Lousy jerkoff. :lmao: :lmao: No, I don't take this #### lightly. I'm working hard for this little #####. He's a pain in the ### but hey, so was I. I have a series of beatings lined up that will make him pray to be in school.

Perhaps you are available to tutor my son?

Is Terrell Owens worth picking up and stashing in deeper leagues?Thx, will answer yours.
I picked up Randy Moss on Saturday night in a drunken state after hearing a bunch of rumours that he attended Saints camp earlier that day :bag:ETA: the answer to your original question. No

Even if Moss comes back, I think he's toast. But Owens had a great season last year. His health is the main issue, I guess.

I can definitely teach him how to be fat. Funny thing is, fat is just about the last thing my kid will ever be. He's always commenting on my weight and about how healthy he is. He's a sports nut, especially hockey. And he can whip out 5x as many situps or pushups as I can. Little turd has a six pack already.

hfs, missed this the first time around :lmao:

"one show that we all love is hard knock training with jets. uncle klompit like it so much that he want to be a coach now. it turn out that pop warners league in our town need a coach and uncle klompit decide to start there. he wanted to be just like that coach of jets so first practice he sit them kids down and start sayin #### this and #### them and ####. i guess that is a big no-no because they fire him like 10 minute later and some lady is now the coach. uncle klompit say if he get another chance to be a coach that instead of actually sayin "####s" he just gonna hold up middle finger. kipper say it may work because coachin is about adjustments."

He'll be 38 in December. Whether you round his age up or not, he's done.

37 and 9+ months.

born on December 7, 1973
Right. He's 37. But I know you'll find a way to argue it.
this is the dumbest argument I've seen today. congrats.
I say black. You say white. I'm used to it.Guess what. He's not 38.

who cares?

he's 37 and just blew out his ACL a few months ago. he had to beg one of the worst teams in the league to sign him last year after playing for one of the worst teams in the league the year prior.

which teams are lining up to sign this guy exactly?
