Just today I praised how smooth things have been running with ex and visitation. He's supposed to pick them up today for the weekend and he's already gone to the cottage. I've got a crying 6 yr old, disappointed 8 yr old and further annoyed 17 yr old.

His reasoning "I heard you were having a birthday party Sunday for Austin (middle son) and assumed you weren't letting me have them for the weekend."

They're always back on Sunday.

This potential new job status also raises the possibility of me moving back to San Diego after 7 years in the Northwest. My ex really wants to move back to SoCal, but my job here has made that a non-starter. OB was my home for 6 years, and could be again.
