Today's hoarder rant:
Mr. YSR has been over at his parents' house all weekend, trying to help them clean out the junk. He's taken several trips to the dump, put some things on Craigslist, etc. He's making progress, little by little, and I'm glad he's doing it.
He called about 45 minutes ago and said that he was about to make the most embarrassing trip to Home Depot, ever. It wasn't about what he was going to buy, it was about what he was going to
return. Apparently, his father (who has been helping out with some of the maintenance on his rental properties while we were in FL) would go to Home Depot, charge materials on our Home Depot credit card, and then just stick anything he didn't use in his garage. Wood, power tools, sheetrock, etc.
Mr. YSR's quick guesstimate as to how much he's going to try to take back? At least
two thousand dollars worth of stuff.
