Bowmore update: It's definitely different. Not as potent as the scotches I'm used to, but that's not a bad thing. It's definitely a cleaner taste. I think I slightly prefer the Macallan 18, but this is very nice.

Also, wresting fans: Can you explain to me why Randy Orton is so popular? He's awful when he opens his mouth, and his actual wrestling is average at best.

I'm sharing a lot of this because I just can't really believe that I'm living it, and if others laugh and see it as ridiculous it helps validate me, but I also just need to vent.At the end of the day, despite what I've said (and what Pickles has called him), my husband is a good man and I'm fortunate to be with him. We just have a LOT to figure out, but I imagine that I'm not the only person to go through that in his/her first year of marriage.I'll stop with the updates for the time being. Unless there's something really juicy.

So, my 6 year old son has wet the bed now twice within the past week. Should I be concerned?
We have been having some disciplinary issues with him lately. He's always been somewhat hyperactive, but recently it is almost out of control, like he can't relax or sit still some times.
It gets exasperated at times because my wife has chronic migraines, and his loudness/craziness is just too much for my wife to handle at times.

I felt this way for 19 years, almost 15 of it married. It grows old at different speeds for everyone. I'm very happy to have not spoken to my MiL in almost 4 months.I know I come in here complaining a lot these days, and I'm sorry for that. shuke - I wouldn't worry about it too much yet. Maybe have a talk with him see how he's doing if anything is bothering him. Be supportive, don't make a big deal out of it. If it continues it may be something. My eldest had similar issues from time to time and it passed.
YSR - if it helps to vent, we listen. I once heard that the three most stressful times in one's adult life are getting married, starting a new job and moving. That's a lot of stuff for someone to handle, and I was in the same boat as you ~10 years ago. Things will be just fine.....well, except for that whole in-laws deal. In my case I moved 600 miles away from my in-laws so that helped...but I am also 1,000 miles away from my family and childhood friends. Things will get better.

I talked to him, and he seems to be doing fine. Everyting good at school, not getting in trouble there or anything. We just got done with soccer season, where he was probably the least aggressive and least productive player on the team, but that stuff doesn't seem to phase him.

Shuke - My 7 year old has the occasional accident as well. I would not worry about it unless it becomes a routine, then go and see his doctor. My son had bowel issues that caused him to not feel the signals from his bladder, but some medicine and treatment took care of it.
Diet update: I am a bit stagnant, still down 15-16 pounds. Didn't have the best week eating with all the stuff at home going on. Adding more exercise to my routine. Now out of the house, have control of all three meals and I just don't have the junk food that was in the house. Blue Diamond Honey Roasted Almonds were as good as advertised here on the FFA.
Baseball update: Down 4-0 going into our last at-bat, we rallied for 4 runs to salvage the tie. Due to a schedule mixup, my two best players were 45 mins late, so I put them in the field where one almost turns a double play and they both get hits in the bottom half of the inning to start the rally.

you just described my 6-yr old to T...still occasionally wets himself...we try not to make a big deal about it...friend of our is a counselor and she says not to sweat it too much as it will eventually pass
