GM's thread about nothing (30 Viewers)

I'll go on record as saying that whatever that contract ends up being for is way too much and way too long, and there's almost no way pujols can live up to it in the 2nd half of it, even if he is 32.

But if the angels can afford it, and Arte doesn't mind writing the check, it really doesn't matter. With the Angels spending this kind of dough and the Rangers as loaded as they are, the AL West is looking tough.

awful contract :blackdot:

But then again, this is an organization that took on Vernon Wells awful contract, so obviously they have more money than sense.

a guy at my work took his truck into the shop to get it looked at since it was "rattling" or something. long story short, the repair shop took it for a spin to see what was wrong with it and the back wheel flew off and smashed a BMW. oh and he doesnt have insurance on it.
anyways, the repair shop is trying to make him pay for the damage to this woman's beamer.

That's unfortunate.

he can, hes just an idiot. how is it his fault if the repair shop was driving it?

I don't know, but I also didn't know a tire could fly off a car and destroy a BMW.I would think if your car is not insured and you bring it in for repairs, you're still somewhat liable for damage caused by parts that fly off it due to no fault of the repair shop.

I would think that you're right.

I would think that the repair shop would be required to carry their own insurance for test driving a customer's car. I'm unsure if its fair that they should be obliged to pay it, but its hard to believe they would not be required have insurance that covers it. Of course your friend was required to have linsurance, too....

Albert is 34. GREAT contract, guys.

I'm in a 8-hour continuing education seminar. Bored out of my ever-loving mind. Open to questions, legal or otherwise, or any other forms of time-passing entertainment.

Fire out a couple of n-bombs in a hipster, non-racist, sort of way. That should provide some entertainment.

You referenced Knuckles attempting to tamper with a condom. How did that subsequent conversation play out?

While watching Zane's Sex Chronicles on CineMax last night, I was thinking about the GMTAN Secret Santa. Are we supposed to include our name on the gift(s) we're sending, or is it supposed to a be a real secret?

Whether you do or don't I'm now spraying whatever I receive with sanitizer.

Pretty sure it won't be too hard for the person I got to figure out who sent it.
Sending a dozen kittens?
And the return address will be a nursing home.
I will fly up to Cle Freaking Elum and punch you in the wang.
