GM's thread about nothing (18 Viewers)

chipotle is awful.

baja fresh serves beer and is actually something like mexican food.
They're both about the same to me. Isn't Chipotle's hook that they use all organic and locally sourced meat and produce? I thought that was what the premium $ was about.
It means serving the very best sustainably raised food possible with an eye to great taste, great nutrition and great value.

It means that we support and sustain family farmers who respect the land and the animals in their care.

It means that whenever possible we use meat from animals raised without the use of antibiotics or added hormones.

And it means that we source organic and local produce when practical. And that we use dairy from cows raised without the use of synthetic hormones.
So probably not very often.
Came pretty close to landing a job with them managing their inbound logistics. Would have been interesting to see how this held up but I know some people there and they seem like they really hold true to this philosophy. I don't think it's just smoke and mirrors.
Its true- I'd say 70-90% you can use organic and good local stuff and maintain costs, but the rest of the time you have to compromise or kill your food costs.

Where's rude dood??? Sorry but I have to do this, too much on the line.

HOU, TEN or SEA D this week? I just can't decide and I have a large bet with this one guy on total points and we are neck and neck. More than I ever should've bet but I couldn't resist when I saw that he had drafted Manning in the 4th, followed by Clark in the 5th. He was so bad early though, that he got all the first WW picks and became competitive.

TMI? TIA.

lol

Seattle has a bad matchup. It's gotta be either Houston or Tennessee. I think Houston has the better defense but Tennessee has a slightly better matchup.

I'd probably go with Houston though.

What has two thumbs and is an complete mosquito magnet?

Does anyone else have this problem? I've been with my mom and stepfather in Nicaragua for a week, and they have zero bites, while I have at least two dozen at any one time and they blow up the size of beisbols. Why do they always go for me before anyone else?!?!

(Yes, I know you're sorry for my troubles with tropical paradises.)

You know, I've done this before and it seemed to help a lot. Don't know why I forgot about it this time. Thanks for the reminder.

Okay, I just took out Tenn and put in Houston. You will receive yet another package if this advice was right.Actually, if it's wrong you'll also receive one.

My engagement party is tonight. :suds: And I had surgery yesterday to remove my left ovary and a cyst the size of a grapefruit along with some other issues. The surgery went well and everything was clean. It has been a long past six weeks. I got to go home last night and there is no way I'm letting a surgery keep me from the party tonight. Vicodin helps too.Throughout it all, my GF and I made a promise to stay positive, which we did. And to stay strong, which we did. She has been incredible throughout all this. She drove me to all my appointments, kept a folder together of pertinent information to take to each appointment, etc. Not only that, but she went on a liquid diet with me. I didn't have to ask for anything and would never dream of asking her to do all that she did.She proposed to me on December 5. She said she wanted me to know she was in it for the long haul, no matter what happens. And she wanted to do it before I went into surgery so that in my mind, if everything went well, I would never doubt her intentions for asking me. In other words, "Is she only asking because I'm ok?"During our ordeal, I told myself I wouldn't look up anything related to my symptoms, etc. What I didn't know couldn't hurt me and I thought it would be better not to know in order to remain as optimistic and positive as possible. What I didn't know is that she looked up my symptoms and based on what we knew at the time, there was a 90% chance it could be cancer. Thank God she never told me that. But finding that out last night from her after I got home makes me love her even more as she proposed to me knowing that there could be a 90% chance that it wouldn't be good news. :suds:
Pics?

Clearly you're going to destroy marriage and should be stopped. We don't need this kind of behavior in society.
Don't forget that if we adopt a bunch of kids, it will turn they gay too.
Hmmmmmm.....does that mean if you adopt my son that he'll turn ungay?
Nope. It would mean he would go from regular gay to drag-queen gay. And thanks for the well-wishes!
Lol

Cause you so sweet

So Rude, when you going to be out here? What's the skinny?
wife might be going on temporary assignment at Boeing for 6 months or so. I'd probably come along and work my job remotely.maybe starting in February/March-ish. It might not happen though. Still being decided.
Do it. Seattle in the summer is one of the best places on earth. I'd love to live in Seattle and if I didn't love Portland just a little bit more, I'd move there. Fantastic place.
I'm pretty sure I'm buying a boat for this upcoming summer. You should head up here for the Underwater Music Festival...it's around the end of August. They have 6 or so bands play on a barge, and last year 4000 came. The catch is that you can only get to it by water, so there are hundreds of boats and a ridiculous amount of booze.

I made molasses spice cookies with a dark rum glaze earlier

Just finished a Westmalle Tripple

Poured myself an Orval

About to put my daughter to bed

Life is good  :banned:

Yeah! H Yeah! Also would have acceptd "go to a Ducks football game with GM" or "go on a strip club tour with GM" or even "pass out in a golf cart with GM".

Anybody else start Donald Brown in their lone Championship Game? Anybody? No?

:kicksrock:

Everytime Addai touches the ball, a piece of me dies....probably a piece of my liver.

First year playing FF?
Totally spaced there was a game tonight. :lmao: That's why I came for help in the first place.I think I'll go watch it. :banned: :bye:
I actually think this is the first year I didn't do that once

Yeah, you know I was just thinking the other day that this thread could really use some moral indignation of the Latter Day Saint variety. By all means, let's get some of that into here pronto.

I love Mrs. TF. we're watching the Boise game and the official college commercial comes on, and "what do you think of Boise State? "

Mrs.TF replies: kellen Moore.......... GAY

:lmao:
