Marketing at its finest illustrated here. The Slanket was actually first. The Snuggie is the knockoff at a cheaper price with better advertising. Perhaps if they had featured people crapping in them, they would have won the war.
This is true. The Slanket is actually MUCH nicer than a Snuggie. Like saying a Porsche is a knockoff of a Kia.

I got a Bills knockoff snuggie/slanket thing from K4 for secret santa. I was excited to get it, but it's honestly about as thick as the toiler paper GM used so there's not much warmth gained by wearing it.

Drank some beer out of the Bills pilsner glass though and the gnome is awesome.

Any update on K4 getting her SS gift yet?

Louis: the thing is

Louis: im not proud of the way i act when you bring that thing out

Rick: Are we even talking about the same thing?

Louis: i dont feel in control

Louis: thats not me

Rick: I feel like maybe you're blowing it out of proportion a little

Louis: thats a side of me i never wanted you to see

Rick: It's a laser pointer, Lou.

Louis: see now i feel like im gonna be sick

Louis: theres a darkness inside of me

I love the fact that both my ex-wife and my girlfriend don't watch or follow sports at all. It's made some comedic moments over the years. Last night Charles Barkely is on the Daily Show and my gf says, "is that the guy with aids?"

You should hook her and Tanner up on FB by tagging both of them in a post. Then sit back with the popcorn. (tag me too)

Was it cold in the bathroom? The Slanket just that damn comfortable? How does one find themselves on the toilet while STILL in their Slanket?

Was it cold in the bathroom? The Slanket just that damn comfortable? How does one find themselves on the toilet while STILL in their Slanket?
Little of both. Trying to save $$$ by keeping the heat off at night when the kids aren't with us. So I like to wrap up in Slanket and sleep it in, which generates a LOT of warmth (I burn hot at night). The bathroom upstairs tends to get a little cold, so today, I decided to try and poop with the Slanket still wrapped around me. It was like trying to juggle 7 balls at one time.

Took a dump in my Slanket this morning. Do not recommend.
I had to look this up.
Snuggie knock-off. Got it two years ago during one of those White Elephant deals. Stole it from some lady and just left the room so nobody could take it back. :sharkmove:
You do NOT really have and wear a snuggie snuggie knock-off! :lmao:

:lmao: :lmao:

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Also,

Point of clarification, the snuggie is a slanket knockoff. The slanket is made of much better quality material (doesn't get all fuzzy and whatnot). The snuggie just had a much better marketing campaign.ETA: Drifter beat me to it

Let me send you an invite to join. Send me an email and I'll send you an invite to join.Anybody else? Is Hack my only friend here? Just one GMTANNER willing to pony up $20 and play?
is it ppr?Dude....I ONLY play in PPR.Same scoring as HFFL.

ETA: ANGRY BEAVERS!!!!

What do I need to do in order to play donate?
I can always count on Charv! Invite sent.
 Well, I logged in... What do I do now? Do I pick players? What teams are playing? Is this for the NFL Playoffs?
lol...Yes, you will pick players off of the NFL teams that are in the playoffs. Because the site anticipated your arrival, it will ONLY offer you players from the teams IN the playoffs. So there's one saftey net for you. What you need to do is select a full roster of players for the contest. The full roster consists of:

1 QB

2 RB

2 WR

1 TE

1 K

1 Def/ST

1 Flex - AT ANY POSITION (including QB)

Once your roster is selected, you need to set your line-up and hope the players you picked play on teams that advance to the Super Bowl. There is no roster management or trades or free agency...once the first ball is kicked off, the rosters are frozen for the duration of the playoffs. The winner of this thing will not only pick the right players, but will pick the players on the teams that go the furthest in the playoffs. Winner take all. $20 entry fee, we usually pay out $400+ to the champ.

Any questions?

OH...you will NOT be able to see anybody else's roster UNTIL the games start on Saturday.

Marketing at its finest illustrated here. The Slanket was actually first. The Snuggie is the knockoff at a cheaper price with better advertising. Perhaps if they had featured people crapping in them, they would have won the war.
...and
Why won't people just wear a ####### pair of sweat pants, a hoodie, and socks? That #### flap from 1865 pajamas is hilarious.

Folks - I'm hosting an NFL Fantasy Football Playoff Contest. Some of you have played in it before. $20 to join and it's winner take all. If you are interested in joining, read the info below. The more the merrier!

Happy New Year and Welcome to the 2012 Fantasy Football Playoff Challenge. If you are receiving this email, it is because you played in the contest last season. Before I go further, if you would like me to REMOVE you from this email list, reply and let me know now and I will take you off further correspondence. For those who want to play, I will remind you of the rules below:Entry Fee - $20 Payment Options: Payal - fnesbitt@aditfunds.com or check to Forrest Nesbitt - PM me for address. If you were a big winner in either Homegrown or HFFL Fantasy Leagues for 2011, I can and will hold back your entry fee on your payout (which will happen this week).Website - www.rtsports.com Username is your email address. If you forgot your password, they will send you a reminder to the email address you used last year.Rules - Each owner will assemble a team of players from the NFL teams that have made the playoffs. Each owner will be required to select the following:1 QB2 RB2 WR1 TE1 Kicker1 Team Defense/Special Teams1 Flex Player at ANY POSITION (including QB, Kicker, Defense, Etc)You have until Saturday at 4:30pm EST to assemble your roster. Once you have assembled your roster, you must INSERT them into the starting line-up. I will ensure each team has done this prior to the kick off as some owners forget. Once the first game kicks off, all rosters/teams are frozen and the challenge is underway! Deadline - Saturday, January 7th at 4:30pm EST. You can make unlimited moves to your roster before the deadline. Once the ball kicks off, everything is frozen for the duration of the playoffs.Winner - The contest winner will be the owner who amasses the most total points at the end of the Super Bowl. This contest is cumulative and the owner with the most points at the end wins. Winning this contest requires not only picking the right players, but picking the right teams. The more players you have on Super Bowl Sunday, the better chance you'll have at winning this contest.Prize - This is a "Winner Take All" format. The more owners we have, the more money we'll have to allocate to the champ. Past winners have received anywhere from $300-$400. Please feel free to spread the word and invite your friends!Any questions, please email me at fnesbitt@aditfunds.com. I usually respond right away to all emails and will be monitoring this site and my inbox for any potential issues. Good luck and let the Playoff Madness begin!Best,Forrest
