Just wanted to make sure I passed along some heartfelt condolences and am so sorry for Stu's loss. He posted a picture of his dad on FB...looks just like Stu. Uncanny.Sorry Stu. :(

As a joke yesterday I sent an email out to my entire company (roughly 130 people) with an article about how Leap Year Day was the 1 day a year that it was ok for women to propose to men. I told all the male employees that they could ignore this email and I told all the female employees that if after reading the article, they wanted to "ask" me anything that I could be reached via email, fax or telephone. (by the way, we aren't supposed to send an email out to the address: everyone@mycompany.com without permission from the President or EVP, someone complained once that I tend to randomly do it without permission and its usually not work-related, that complaining person was told by the EVP that "it was ok for Gadzooks to do it because despite his atrocious record of missing deadlines, being late and numerous paperwork errors; customers love him, his numbers are better than anyone else's and more importantly, he's usually funny". This is one of the few reasons why I stay at this job)
The responses I got:
* 2 proposals (they were from a 63 year old woman and a 59 year old woman)
* 1 maybe proposal (from a hot cougar, who is a loan underwriter and the email she sent was only the rate sheet, but I asked her if it was really a cryptic wedding proposal and she repied: "I don't think so")
* 1 faxed proposal from the gay guy in our Call Center
* About a dozen people said I was funny or ridiculous
* 6 people asked if I serious or joking (can I consider those "maybe's"?)
* 2 women called me creepy
* 1 disgruntled divorced-guy replied with "if you get laid from this, I will punch you in the face"
As a bonus, I got a text last evening from the President's hot daughter, my hair stylist (or barber) which I assumed was regarding my appointment with her next week, but it said "hey, I heard you were getting a lot of wedding proposals today, am I too late? (and that winky thing Woz likes)" Apparently a co-worker was getting her haircut there and told her the story about my email. After texting back and forth, we might go out for a drink Saturday, which will most likely be a huge mistake, luckily I not only enjoy making huge mistakes, I embrace it.

they'll probably go out and try to sign the most expensive WR available in free agency. Vincent Jackson maybe? Also, how will the bears upgrade their WR this offseason?
