That's kind of what I figured. Just trying to see if there are any options out there. Just kind of sucks, but I'll chalk it up to mistakes of the past and do the best we can to move forward. Thanks for the input.

I'd be happy to look at the guaranty for you (if you have a copy of it - if you don't, I'd request a copy from the holder...they ought to be happy to send it to you). Or you might want to talk to the more smarter attorney guys around here.

So not to bring down the thread below it's already horrifically pathetic and sad levels, but I just found out that my buddy and his team leader were both ambushed and wounded in Afghanistan today. His team leader got the worst of it and will be flown to Germany when he hopefully stabilizes enough. My buddy managed to come out of it with Forrest Gump, so thankfully he should be ok. His family is a pretty good mess right now though.

I'm really hoping that his team leader pulls through everything and ends up recovering, because I have about a million jokes in my head already concerning getting shot in the ###.

 
There is ALOT of pron made everyday. I watch ALOT my fair share of it. I also meet new people all the time. Eventually I'm going to know someone who is in a pron, right? Just law of averages. I give it 18 months.

The question is, do I see them in the pron first, or do I find out from them they did a pron and then go and search it out? Option one would be more fun, but option two seem more realistic.

I've been seriously bothered by this for like ten years. There are mountaints of porn out there with hundreds of chicks in them. But where do they come from?? Shouldn't the odds be that I know one? Closest I ever came was RacistEx's brother who lost his virginity to Melissa (Megan?) Monroe and my gf was friends with the ASU student ID chick. But that's it. Heck, I knew a girl in HS who was hot, unintelligent, promiscuous, and who had serious daddy issues and aspired to be a model who turned down porn. Heck, if she has too much dignity for it, where do they find the girls???

The "couple" that lived in the unit above my condo were in the biz. They definitely looked the part and at night it sounded like they were moving furniture and/or racing dinosaurs. They moved out in December though.

I have spent the better part of today trying to find anybody to go with me to the Blazers game tonight. I'm striking out like Mark Reynolds on a cold night. I'm about to ask my mother. If she turns me down, I'm going to pull a Lary David and invite a hooker.

I haven't felt like this big of a loser in ages.

It started out as my buddy's birthday party. His wife put some sexually suggestive stuff into the evite, which I thought was stupposed to be funny. I was wrong.Anyways, I just started playing LoL last week and I haven't figured out how the runes work yet.

I would go but I don't like basketball and I don't live in anywhere near Portland. I'm also on the fence about you as well. Good luck though.

This weekend I went to my parents' house for lunch. My mom was trying a new chicken teriyaki recipe. In her crockpot. I'm sure it was all innocent enough, but all I heard was "crockpot Kobayashi". I needed to be excused for a little while; no way was I going to 'splain why I was cracking up.

I forgot to mention that 50% of the people in the 6:00 game and about 25% of the 9:00 game are deaf. I know this going in, but never seem to remember it. As a result, I try to break the ice at the tables with my many witticisms, and when I am met with silence, I always think, "Oooh, I'm at the serious player table". :bag:

 
YSR, I'm afraid I'd have to agree with Idiot Boxer that it would be unlikely you'll get a release from the guarantee. There's simply no reason for someone to do that with getting anything in exchange.

Going back to the sale, however, did you have a written purchase/sale agreement? If you did, it should have covered liabilities and possibly given you an indemnification pursuant to which you could pursue the buyer for the amount.
