GM's thread about nothing (20 Viewers)

I have to say as awesome as shukes vids were, I have to give the nod to Oliver. He really hasn't participated much other than Krista posting from his account. Putting himself out there like that was pretty cool :thumbup:My next prize pack might include the life sized Yao Ming Chinese National jersey
:goodposting:And the k4 lead-up to it had me giggling as well.

My wife went back to her home town to visit family this weekend. She brought back bear meat from one of her old man's friend. It's ground up so we'll probably just make burgers out of it. Had anyone ever had it? Is it gamey? Lean/fat?

When I had some last year from a guy at work who shot one, it was good, not gamey, and fairly lean.

Ok FB guys, what say you?

Was just offered this trade. 6x6

Pack trades Brett Lawrie,

PAPI trades Hanley Ramirez,

PAPI trades Mark Reynolds,

I am still loving Lawrie this year, but is Ramirez a better option, or is it a wash?

My SS now are Elvus and Peralta.

Thoughts?

I'd trade Lawrie for Ramirez. But I hate Reynolds. Get something other than him

I was completely naked, except for that shirt
Well, that certainly explains the look on your dog's face. You know you is gonna win burritos.

I finally watched this and had the volume a bit too loud because my wife came downstairs and asked what all the yelling was about. Luckily she's a cool enough chick that "just a video" was all she really cared to hear and their were no follow up questions. I'm not quite sure how to recover if she wanted to see and/or know more. I think I would have just loaded up some random porn and dealt with the consequences, even if it was weird stuff. Easier to explain that than the truth. Less embarrassing too.

So, the 5 y.o. is up puking with this 'norovirus' that has shut down some schools in the area. She's ralphing once every 5 minutes and complaining of an earache. I'm sitting in the recliner eating nuked leftover Fazoli's bread sticks.

How the #### did I get here?

GM should really turn to the Patriot's Day game between the Red Sox and Rays. A bunch of really pale folks in the stands are getting really sunburnt.

I would take Hanley for Lawrie straight up in a redraft. Are there salaries or anything involved?

We're signing my daughter (age 4 in two days) up for a summer science camp (one week long, 3 hours per day) because she needs things to do and I love science and love the idea of her learning science. The problem is it is being held at a church, which already makes me nervous (we don't go to church at all, although she goes whenever she stays over at my parents house, maybe once every couple of months - she also has a "baby jesus" nativity set that she likes to play with - none of these things bother me). Looking at the class listing, as well as all the other "camps" they offer, they list a bible basis for each one and for the science one it is, "I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me." I'm not sure how I feel about this.

I guess if they just mention god once or twice that's fine, but I really don't want them beating that mantra into her head every time they do an experiment. Like, "Hey Abby, do you know why baking soda and vinegar create that volcano? Not because of an acid/base reaction, but because God said so" or something. I know I'm probably worrying over nothing, but if she comes home from science class talking about a 6,000 year old earth and intelligent design I'm going to be unhappy.

Well, that one's ruined. Time to start working on a new kid.
