Wait, what?Tannering: heavily discouraged
Is it because you don't fly? Pteromerhanophobia?Yes. The last time we visited Chicago was August of last year, and we drove.ETA: Next time I'd like to take the train.
We don't have anywhere to go domestically. My family is in Louisville, which is a drive rather than a fly, and I only do that once a year anyway. We've never visited Mr. krista's family.
Tannering would be when you post a 3 minute shot video and don't actually do a shot.Wait, what?Tannering: heavily discouraged
Damn, good luck Sofa.

I was waiting for that from you. No, not the fake river. Ohhhh...those are HD
Of course. You think I'm some sort of piker?
I think you are verging on the horrendous, awful, awkward, too-cool-for-you teenage years with these guys. The 10 year old is probably feeding off the apathy of the other two. My sons get stoked everytime we go camping, but they are 9 and 7. I imagine my day of reckoning looms ahead. My advice? Tell them you hid some vintage Playboy's and fireworks out in the woods and give them a few clues to go out and find them. Then you can sit back and drink. When they emerge from their hunt, go shoot some fireworks into the water and let them retire to their tents early. Are you going to canoe around a lake?'phishphan said:Do kids still like to go camping? I'm taking my brother and nephews (ages 10, 13 and 15) this weekend to camp and canoe. From talking to my bro, the kids don't seem near as excited as I would have as a kid.
OH COME ONThe video shots on Saturday night were epic. I tried, but was too drunk to figure how to make the video thing on my phone work. Stryker/Samuel... watching your video over and over is almost as good as sex. I haven't had a good blackout drunk night like last Saturday in a while. It was nice to know that you guys were in my thoughts that night though. One of the bars I went to was having a private "sweet 16 party" in a function room and apparently I kept telling my buddy that "Homer would love this!!" And the next day I got a text from my gay cousin in California asking me who "Tanner" was. I guess I had texted him asking if he knew Tanner from any of the clubs out there![]()

May have to target each one separately because they are all different. The 15-year old has squatted 400# already. the 13-year old would have trouble with an empty barbell, but was invited to take the ACT this year (has something to do with Duke University) and is upset he scored in the teens. The 10-year old lives for baseball and nothing else. none of them have ever been camping.Yep, you need to focus this around fire, feats of strength and dangerous tasks.I think you are verging on the horrendous, awful, awkward, too-cool-for-you teenage years with these guys. Just spitballing here.
Know What I Mean?My 37 year old sister (who is going on 19) and I got into a heated email fight yesterday. I won't go into details, though they are head-spinningly stupid, but at one point she replied to me with an email that contained the acronym "KWIM"? It was everything I had in my body not to drive over to her soon-to-be-foreclosed-upon house and disown her as a blood relative. I don't know what made me angrier...the fact that she used it or the fact that I had to take the time to look it up.Pro-tip. If you ever - EVER - consider using one of these little internet acronyms that isn't widely known or easy to discern...don't.![]()

Well, it sounds like a lot of fun to me. I'd rather raft/canoe down a river than do just about anything else. I've paddled down some Ark rivers before. Some real purty terrain up in there.I think you are verging on the horrendous, awful, awkward, too-cool-for-you teenage years with these guys. It was in the 80s this past weekend. It's calling for a high of 60 this Saturday. 11 miles on a river that stays around 50 degrees year round may get a little too cold for sober kids.
