Worked nine hours today and then headed straight from work to the two 10x20 storage units that the Hoarders currently occupy in an effort to put together a garage sale. My MIL was surprisingly on board and did a tremendous job of purging one of the units. She was willing to part with a lot of things that I thought would be a challenge. So, I was pleased.

And then I saw my FIL taking things from the garage sale pile and putting them in his car. Le sigh.

But, we have squirreled away more than enough to do a garage sale next weekend (fingers crossed). Someone remind me to take a camera out there so I can document some of the things that are going into the sale. It's Tennessee Redneck Hoarder grade merchandise.

TF is delirious and crapping himself. Other than that, nothing. Doing old married guy stuff. Beer, Dodgers vs. Nats, thinking of taking a shot video with my cat to patronize Tanner because he's ignoring me on chat. Just noticed that Bryce Harper's parents look like a gay couple. His dad looks like he's an openly gay twentysomethinger, and his mom looks like a 40 year old drag queen with hair the color of menstrual flow and penciled in eyebrows.

Have had an Electrolux and definitely not worth the extra money.A stainless steel interior is a big plus, as is NSF certification (means it completely sanitizes the load thru high temp rinse or steam cycle).
 
Bosch. I'm pretty neutral about it. One thing to be sure of is to turn the water ALL THE WAY OFF when installing it. I flooded the #### out of our kitchen putting it in. And JR cracked his head when he came running in to see what the ruckus was and went sliding across the kitchen floor into the wall.

 
Bored out of my mind. Wife is working a wedding. No idea when she will be home. My friend's band is playing at the bar about a mile away. Tempted to put on some clean duds and grab a couple of beers. I'm so bored that I'm not even motivated to do anything.

C'mon. Do it. Involve a penny somewhere if it will give you additional motivation. I've been married for just less than a year and I already have less of a social life than you do at 71, so I'd like to live vicariously if I could.

They're really an odd looking couple. I wish I could find a pic.
 
I came home earlier this evening, with a fresh load of Tex-Mex racing through me, and twisted my key off in the lock like it was made of Havarti. Took only about half an hour to resolve the situation...which is exactly how much time I had. :shock:

My dishwasher says it's a Roper. :shrug:

 
We have the best looking cats. I mean, they're just handsome/beautiful. None of these wonky looking kitties.

Marvin can attest.

Guster, if you're sending out dishwashers from your company to your Internet friends, I'd like to be on your mailing list./Side note: One of my GBs is a chemist where you work. He made the leading clothes washing brand for years but I believe has recently been moved into women's fragrances? He identifies himself as a "section head".

Guster, if you're sending out dishwashers from your company to your Internet friends, I'd like to be on your mailing list./Side note: One of my GBs is a chemist where you work. He made the leading clothes washing brand for years but I believe has recently been moved into women's fragrances? He identifies himself as a "section head".

added. we sent out several months ago, but that's just because we wanted to buy their dishwashers from them to study themyour friend would be a middle manager. I'm going up our technical career ladder, so different levels and such, but he's probably a level above me. Slim chance I'd know him, but PM/text me his name...you never know!

We were set on Bosch until we found out that it doesn't have a heat dry cycle. Then I looked at a number of reviews and most of the said that anything plastic will still be wet. This is a huge annoyance with our current dishwasher.
