Frosty showed me a video of his kid hitting off of a tee when we were at the bar last time. I was jealous so I got one off of amazon and had the kid hit some balls off of our back deck. He started pretty strong but was soon just using the bat to push the ball off of the end of the deck to watch it fall.

You need to make it fun for him. Maybe add a moving target for him to try and hit. Maybe something like this

Speaking of, one of the properties that falls under the property management company for whom I'm working is a self-storage facility. I'm working on putting together a marketing flyer for a customer appreciation event in early June and dipped into their files for logos, etc. This is their logo.

Krista's thread reminded me how much I like the people here, so I will try and ease my way back in.So, recent stuff:1) We are buying a new house and moving. The new place is only about 8 blocks away. Still in Alexandria VA. Holy shnikies moving sucks.2) My kids are 8 and 11. I friggen love those ages. I want to bottle them now, because I am afraid of what they will be like at 13 and 16.3) I am applying for a new job. Application is due Monday. Holy crap, it sucks Monkey balls. I don't know how I'm going to finish it. I have to finish 7 three-page essays by Monday at midnight.Anyway, just had to vent.

I could definitely eat another double QP or 2 more Big Macs if they were put in front of me and I wanted to press the envelope. I do feel quite thirsty and I have a general feeling of odd malaise, almost as if this were a dream and not reality. My mouth feels like it's coated with a thin film of grease. Good luck with everything. I'm in a similar boat with regards to moving. I'm terrified of it. It's going to be a nightmare. My pregnant wife won't be too much help. I'm pretty broke, so movers are out of the question. I have some good friends who have offered to help, but I'll believe it when I see it.And yes, I'd like to capture the age of my children right now and never let them grow. Soon, they'll want nothing to do with me and god help me when they go off to college. Sigh....Krista's thread makes me horribly sad. I hate that she's going through that sort of pain. :(

absolutely, especially if you are moving in-town.Moving is a nightmare, this is money well spent. I used three men and a truck or something like that. I think it cost 150 bucks for the move, and I tipped them (don't remember what) and they moved my entire family from one place to another and put everything in the appropriate rooms. All I needed to do was box up everything before the move, and unbox it after the move.PRetty sure Cosjobs could round up some day workers and get it done for 1/2 that cost if you wanted
