GM - good point on hot chicks at trail. Huge fan. I've gone for a run every afternoon. Skipping today but planning to hit the Nike group run tomorrow afternoon.

If we're feeling ambitious, we should try and hit NW Portland for some drinks outside on either 21st or 23rd. Portland is a FAR FAR FAR FAR cry from Austin in terms of quality tail, but you really can't go wrong sipping pints outside NW Portland on a crisp sunny day.

The Ex posted new photos on FB today. Her, some of her family, both of the kids and her new boyfriend all are on vacation. They posed for pictures, including the four of them (my ex, my kids, the new guy) with the new guy holding my daughter for the pictures. Hit me much harder than I thought it would. Still know that I did the right thing, but it was still a kick in the gut.

Going to watch Guster's SVTEASVFEAE (shot video to end all shot videos for ever and ever) about 100 times to take my mind off of it.

 
Can't imagine not wanting to deck the new guy, not for being with your ex (he can have her), but trying to take your place with your little girl.

Thing is....no one can ever take your place with your little girl.

So be happy that she's enjoying her vacation. She'll tell you how much she loves you as soon as you see her.

Oh, I can understand it pissing Bogart off and I'm sure I'd be upset too. But then, I'm biased on this because my ex-wife has had to look at pictures of her sons with my wife all over facebook for the last 4.5 years and I know how hard it was for her at first. She's been over it for quite some time, but I know it hurt her feelings and she was threatened by it. But time heals all wounds and now, I think my ex is more than okay with the fact that her sons' step-mom is as loving, caring and nurturing as she is and brings a LOT more to the table than they would have had otherwise in life.Also, thus far, none of the guys my ex-wife has dated have been around long enough for vacation photos with my boys, so I've never had to deal with it. I would not have any right whatsoever to feel jealous or be upset, though. And deep down, I would really like Tamara/Flags/Ex-Mrs. GM to find somebody who can truly make her happy. I couldn't, but I hold out hope she finds that right person. I also applaud her for not parading her boyfriends into and out of my sons' lives. She's been very careful about that and I'm really thankful.

That's how I get my gout pills and my augmentin for the occasional sinus infection. Works ok. If you become a triathalon guy, let me know...I'll pick some up too.

My parents LOVE Grimm because they film several scenes at their church and pay their church handomely for the use of it in their show. My parents were raving about it, so I gave it a go back in the fall. Horrendous. Other than spotting familiar landmarks, which was kinda cool, it was utter dog vomit.

Anyone in the midwest interested in going to the Great Taste of the Midwest beer festival in Madison? 50/50 chance my lady can't go now, so it's not completely official. It would be Saturday August 11th, leaving on Friday from Chicago returning Sunday to Chicago. Or meet me there for the weekend if you are closer to Madison.

I already have the extra ticket and the hotel room. :unsure:

Last week I agreed to go see Darius Rucker tonight for a buddy's birthday. I'm not sure I've heard any of his post-Blowfish songs, but whatever... I'm sure we'll have a good time and many drinks.

Just now I checked the HOB website to see who was opening... see a name that means nothing to me, and then catch a glimpse of the ticket price. :o

$53 for Hootie??? :wall: WTF?
