Once upon a time there was a glorious college conference known as the Southwest Conference.One day, Arkansas got uppity and left for the SEC and 100 years of football tradition began to crumble.The SW conference booted their weak sisters (UH, TCU) and joined the Big 8 to make the Big 12.The Big 12 rises to prominence and Nebraska, Missouri and Texas A&M all leave for other conferences.Today those treasonous bastards all got their due by losing.ETA: Hey there GB TF. Very reasonable to not notice their absence, but Colorado also lost GB.

Neat move by the Pac-10 adding them. As if the conference didn't have enough detractors...oh, and THANKS Utah! At least UCLA and Arizona stood up and played big boy football. The Arizona outcome shocked me. Washington should have run away fast from the LSU game like Tennessee and Kansas State did backing out of their home 'n' homes with Oregon.

No. At the end of every episode (I think) they have a live audience outside the house to react to that Chinese lady's commentary. And then I think the bring out the latest person to be kicked out. I honestly don't know what happens but they do have a live, studio audience for some reason.Ask Pickles.

Yeah. I've seen that. G__damn that stuff is still tough to watch.Tomorrow I have to go to work and do my usual "Today in History". It's getting to the point where I really don't want to do it on 9/11. What do I tell these kids that were 3 years old when it happened? I never know what is too much and what is too little. Either way it depresses me for most of the day.
