Well, things are going swell around here.
I think I mentioned in here how I got some pretty bad viruses on my work laptop and stayed up all night trying to fix it because I had to get some work done, on a Saturday night. Well, after numerous attempts by various IT guys to fix it, it became impossible even to get it to boot so they had to reimage it. Unfortunately I haven't backed up my .pst file for years (I thought it was automatically backed up to our network drive). 7 years worth of email gone. You want to see an email hoarder? I probably save 50 emails a day, all in a very organized file system. A lot of these emails contain documents that I usually don't save, because I find it easier to search through my saved emails. So on top of being swamped due to traveling for 2 weeks when I basically did not have a functioning computer for the last half of it, now I've lost all that crap.
I finally had to go back to my foot doc this morning. I wasn't supposed to see him until my toe surgery in November, but my plantar fasciitis in my other foot has become unbearable. I could barely get around yesterday. So he gave me a cortisone shot and put me in a walking boot for 3-4 weeks. Awesome. What a pain in the ### this thing is. Especially since I drive a manual and have to screw with taking it off and putting it back on whenever I have to drive.
On top of that my wife has been feeling horrible, although the last two days have been an improvement.
A lot of bad karma ever since I blew hack off in Chicago.

I was picturing myself trying to get through TSA with my walking boot. This thing was so big, it could hold eight pounds of C4. They would have gone to Threat Level Orange the second I walked up.

Watching an episode of Honey Boo Boo so I could know what it was.
A) I might go ahead and kill myself when it is over. No real need to go on anymore
7) I actually recognize this triceraops (sp?) of a woman from an episode of "Toddlers & Tiaras" I watched once last year.
∞) Assuming these people are part of the 47% Romney was talking about, I would be shocked to learn if this show took place in a Blue state. Just a guess.
I'm rooting for one of those trains that passes by the house to kind of derail a little.
A) I might go ahead and kill myself when it is over. No real need to go on anymore

It was all very lame. I was actually shocked how poor the turnout was, although the way that they edited the video makes it look like the entire campus turned out. If we win this thing and Kathie Lee does come to campus, I'll do my best for some shtick.Also, IMO Tampa is even crappier than Memphis, even with the palm trees.'krista4 said:

I like Tampa. Here are some positives:
- Beach
- Like many major cities, there is plenty to do such as sporting events, concerts, museums, etc.
- With several colleges around, there's a good mix of young and old people. It's not all old retired people, like many envision when think of Florida.
- Ybor City (beer and cigars.....
)
- Like the rest of Florida, low taxes (no state income tax, no employee payroll taxes, lower RE taxes, etc.)
- Weather is great (this might not be your thing if you like the cold)
