shuke - after you were diagnosed with an ocular migrane...is there any treatment for it? What did the doctor recommend? I ask, you know, for a 'friend'
No. They go away on their own so there isn't any treatment for attacks. He said it may never happen to me again. It's one of those things that could be caused by just about anything, food allergies, stress, lack of sleep, etc.

So I before I left for work this morning, I got a floater/flasher in my eyes, it looked like there was a huge kaleidoscope in my vision. It last about 45 minutes. Freaked out for a bit but went to work, I am swamped and will be taking a few days off for Christmas. I had set aside all of today to do 5 peformance reviews that I'm actually a few days late on. Called my eye doc just to get a heads up and he demanded I be seen today. Only problem was that he was booked. He's affiliated with a local chain so the other place by my work didn't have a doctor in today, so I had to go all the way back up by home for an early afternoon appointment. Everything is fine, he said I had an "eye migraine", I guess some blood vessels running to my eye suddenly dilated temporarily and it caused this. So I leave and I can't see #### unless it's more than 4 feet away because my eyes were dilated, and had a headache so took a nap. Got up and my wife has a real migraine, so I had to help with dinner and get the kids to bed. So now I have to stay up all night getting these reviews done. Awesome.
WOW SHUKE THAT IS HORRIBLE. GLAD TO HEAR EVERYTHING IS OK. GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR WORK STUFF.
Oh wow, thanks, I really appreciate it.
Easy, Mr. Pack.
:unsure:I like being nice.

Shuke: whatever happened with the teacher that slapped your kid or whatever?
We were going to talk to another parent we know who has twin boys in the class to see if she did it to them. And then we forgot about it. I brought it up with some people I know and someone said their kid's teacher does it, too, and made me feel like some overreactive prude.

I have a horrible confession to make.

Up until right now I thought SacramentoBob was an alias of Bob Sacamano.

Is this a catholic school?

Well I guess that is better.

For all my moodiness this time of year, tonight has been awesome. At the moment, I'm drinking keystone and watching Doc Mcstuffins with my awesome kid. Not sure it gets any better.

I think it might. :hifive: anyway though.

My evening involved playing racquetball with Stu Jr, helping him pick out a couple Christmas presents, dinner, and now watching "The Last Waltz" while enjoying a little Scotch. Good stuff.

You could be drinking a Bell's Oberon and watching Special Agent Oso.
Adventure Time, imo.
That's a show for adults, IMO. Flies right over the head of most kids. Team Umizoomi might work here.
That's why I like to watch it with my kid. Big Phineas and Ferb fans as well.
