Your Tauntaun will freeze before you reach the first marker!
Currently sporting a thermal, a long sleeve tee, and a golf pullover and still freezing my nips off. I'd love to climb into a tauntaun right now. I hear once you feng shue the organs, it's really not so bad.
You know what would warm you up? A woman. (A real one).
Or bourbon
Or hot gymnasts

See angry update above. No way I'd have made it there.
Disappointed in you gb. "Listen hon, I want this to happen as much as you do. But my place is still warm and has electricity so why don't you come HERE instead of asking me to come THERE. And if you hurry I might let you rub my back for a while before we start that magic show..."

Just finished season 3 of Breaking Bad. Wow.
Yeah. I liked season 4 best of all so far, but ask me tomorrow and 3 or 2 might take the cake. Regardless, glad you are liking it. No more half measures, Walter.Eta - don't watch box cutter (4:1) if you plan on getting any sleep tonight.

No video of the dancing?
:goodposting: Or Thorn and me singing to each other at the bar using bananas as microphones? I do know that Thorn was wearing Mrs. SLB's sunglasses.
Ya I'm gonna need those back to avoid snow blindness today. TIA.
I brought 3 pairs of sunglasses to coshole and only came back with 1 :kicksrock:
I went with one pair and returned with one pair. Not the same pair, but they were the only ones left. :bye:
Did I wear them at any point?

what will cover your ginormous crack though?
There is a plush stuffed animal rabbit left over from his latest conquest.

I just got two free Heinekens for helping the Jamaicans up the street out of their driveway. I don't care what color you are, I'll ####### help you. FREE HEINIES!

If'n you lived here, I'm certain we'd meet up at the legion for a 6am nite nite/wake up shot

PS are you already up for tomorrow?
No. But I was up at 1:30 a.m. yesterday. Had a first-thing job site meeting in DC. I crashed about 8 this evening and just got up for a bit. Should I beer/Sambuca for a few?How are you making out? Still got power?

My power is out. Tried going to a friend's house...got stuck getting out of the driveway...20 minutes later I'm out, get to his place and his power had just #### the bed...coming back home couldn't get the car up the hill so it's parked 2 blocks away...trudged home soaking wet, freezing cold, and filled with a rage only MoP can relate to. Had an offer of drinking and "board games" from the waitress that wants the Homer-lovin, but I was just too pissed to go back out. But hey, at least I have beer to help me freeze to death. FML
Your hood?
 Hobbie, you still with me?

Snow update from my dad (40 min south of thorn) this morning:Hard telling how much snow. Drifts are up to my chest and winds gust to 44mph. It will take me an hour to shovel to the garage. Can barely see the truck.

Oof.Anyone heard from Thorn or Homer lately?I love all of the he-men in the Snowmageddon thread saying everyone's overreacting (I do agree that TV oversells it, though). Tell that to the million people out of power, many of whom are older folks. As someone who grew up in a rural area and has lived through probably a dozen week-long power outages, this #### is bad.

“@breakingstorm: Record snowfall of 29.3 inches set in Thorn's Town, breaking previous record of 27.1 inches set in 1979; more snow expected - @usNWSgov”Last heard from Thorn at 2am, so he's probably sleeping

I was in here in the middle of the night after "napping" for 5 hours. At 1:30 or so, Thorn asked if I was "up for the day". I guess it's good to have SOME kind of rep after coshole :lmao:

I'm adding not being allowed to take NyQuil to the list of sacrifices I am going to hold over this child's head one day.

Any of the hipsters here down with Hospitality?Really digging their sound lately.

Not to beat a dead horse, but this is exactly why I'm only a faux hipster: I have no idea what you people are talking about. My music rotation gets an update once every 2 or 3 years. Current favs are NIN (since like 1990), Rollins (since like 1994), Interpol (my aughts addition), and Duke Ellington. I don't know if this makes me more or less of a hipster.

Don't worry, when you sleep an average 2 hours a night for two years, you'll forget all about the loss of alcohol and nyquil.

You've definitely got an "up at 4 a.m." haircut.

I know. And growing up on a farm, I've always tended towards early rising.Back in the 70s and a good part of the 80s, I had long hair (shoulder length for much of that time). I was also as big a druggy as there was in my circle of friends. Now people think I'm a cop or military when the reason I chose this haircut is about as mundane as it gets - I got tired of dealing with the 8 million cowlicks in my hair. I had to wear my hair either really long or really short, and "really long" got to be too much of a pain.

I'm up. Big storm but for us it ain't so bad. Wind is kind of crazy. Blows the stuff right off your shovel. Sorry neighbors! Also, I would pay real money to see a pic of Uruk with shoulder-length magic space hair.
