GM's thread about nothing (33 Viewers)

Friday hypothetical.

At gunpoint if you had to choose to do one, would you rather:

Watch a 60 minute porn video, from beginning to end, WITH your parents

or

Watch a 60 minute porn video, from beginning to end, STARRING your parents?
My mother's dead, you #####, so I've either got to watch porn with her corpse or watch my father on her corpse. Sick *******. I'd choose the first, get absolutely hammered, and then do a Mystery Science Theater 3000 on whatever the porn video was with my father.

There are people who don't use mobile banking? Other than Tanner and my Grandpa?
I don't use mobile banking because I have direct deposit. I don't have actually handle paper checks like some animal.
There are people who don't have direct deposit?I use it mainly to move $$$ from one account to another--for instance, I have an account in which I just deposit money for Julio to take out with the debit card we gave him. Don't use that account for anything else. So I write a check to "cash", take pictures of it, and there you go--Julio, Carmen and the rest can eat again without having to wait for my sorry ### to go to an ATM. I also occasionally have someone who wants to pay their rental amount by check rather than credit card. Also I occasionally get a small unexpected check for like $1.54 from my insurance company or something. Definitely not worth taking a trip to the bank for those.

For Chase anyway, they put a limit on mobile check depositing at $1000/day or $3000/month I think.

So, no way someone is getting K4 paychecks into the bank that way. As mentioned, it's great for small checks to avoid a trip to the bank, even though there is practically a Chase on every corner in this city.

I know all of these words but this doesn't make any sense. Plus, cash will always be king. :coffee:

Well of course. I have special accounts like that for when I need to give the caretaker (his name is Jean-Philipe) of my Cayman Island condos some money.

Actually I do get paper checks from my wedding clients. I take those directly to the bank and cash them. I don't want them in our checking or savings because that is MY money.

Does it count as taking 2 dumps if I pooped and wiped and then had to do it all over again without ever getting off the toilet? I think I turned the shower on like 20 minutes ago

Are you the guy who builds cool stuff out of reclaimed lumber?
That doesn't answer my question, but I might be. Who's askin? You have some lumber go missin or something?
:lmao:No. I've been buying some to work on though. I thought there was a guy with a similar name on here who did that kinda thing. Found a cool place in the city of Chicago that sells the stuff.Yes, it's 2 dumps btw.

Do what I do. Cash the checks and keep the money in a shoe box with a bunch of pics of your junk on top of it. That way you know she won't touch it.

As long as you didn't stand up,pull your drawers up over your butt and walk away, it counts as one dump.

This is correct.Unless you somehow end up in a Murtaugh-type situation and are forced to sit on the pot for 16 hours straight. Then, I'm sure there will be multiple dumps.

Mobile deposits have been a godsend for me. As a freelance art director, I get checks all the time from my clients. I can't keep driving to the bank every other day. The one thing I do miss about being fully employed is direct deposit.

So I did my 8 miles this morning (hate this time of year when it doesn't start getting light until 7:15 or so) hurried home and got ready for work. I was in and out in about 30 minutes and that was with answering e-mails.

I head out and see a bunch of trash or something on the main drag right that you need to take to enter our subdivision. Now I just walked by there and this wasn't there. I immediately get pissed because these ####### rednecks are constantly throwing trash out their car windows.

As I get closer, something catches my eye....

I notice a pack of smoke, unopened. So I pull the car over and grab the two grocery bags and throw them in the back of my car. I just got them out and counted them, 50 packs of assorted smokes. All with Tennessee tax stamps.

Here too. And no, I'm not giving you any money you damn dirty homeless!

I just did that check picture taking deposit thing with my phone on a check back from the funeral home.

It was pretty easy, but I was as nervous as GM installing Netflix.
Pretty sure when you do that, the check just goes straight to Tre's bourbon fund.
Wait, what? How does this work? I kept my MD bank when I moved to VA because I love them and am lazy. I get very few physical checks anymore, but it's a pain in the ### when I do.
There are people who don't use mobile banking? Other than Tanner and my Grandpa? GB, it's the best thing since TiVo. Just take a picture of the front and back of the check using your phone and WA-LA.
Does every bank do this? Mine is a local (12-ish) branches owned by zillionaires who swear they'll never sell out ( :rolleyes: ). I guess I could ask THEM instead of you.....Just figured you probably owned THIS too :;
Just search your phone to see if your bank has a mobile app. One of the banks I use is a smaller local bank, and they have one.
This is funny, right? :moneybag: (I may be drinking heavily)

Yes. I was planning a whole series of Monty Burns jokes, but in light of her deceased kitty I decided to let it slide.

Just called DirecTV to add HBO. She told me to turn to 501 to check it.

Me: What exactly are you trying to ge tme to watch here, honey?

Her: Excuse me?

Me: "Downtown Girls: The Hookers of Honolulu" is on.

Her: Oh my

Me: "Four she-male and transgendered prostitutes turn tricks in Hawaii"!!
Go on...
I could hear get wet when I told her I had read all the Game Of Thrones books..

Looks like I am to Raleigh, NC in about 6 months. Nervous excitement. At the very least, at least I won't be one of those people that live in the same place their whole lives that Krista rags on :excited: Time to start working on the golf game I think.
Good for you, man.

At the rodeo. Watching Easton Corbin. Wish the wife would stp screaming "TAKE IT ALL OFF" every time he looks our direction.

"They fell off the truck."

You guys still up for it either the weekend before the 15th or the following weekend?
This seems cryptic. Do you mean either the weekend of 4/13 or 4/20?
Yes. Although my boss is trying to get me to KY sooner. I really don't want to fly out there twice in a though.
Can't do the 13th. Taking my son to the Reds game on 4/20, but it is a day game. I could possibly do that night, but the next day is my wife's and my anniversary.

Had drinks with Joe Pisarcik ("Miracle at the Meadowlands") tonight. He was named Executive Director of the NFL Alumni Association (one of our clients) last month. Great guy with a million stories. Joe's about 10 years older than me; he called me "coach" about 20 times. Guess who picked up the tab?

I had difficulty squeezing my head through the door when I got home.

I considered not ####### this thread up, I've been holding back, but just got a text from my GB's wife. His brother got killed in a car accident tonight. Seriously?!! I hate where I live right now so bad. They want me to be there but I've had a few with my son's party. I was (still) considering it. Dre had me convinced it was his twin. They looked that much alike but separated two (younger) years. He was as cool as Uncle Andre too. Man, he loved my white shtick. ####### sad right now for losing him and for his brother's sadness. I should be there to give him a big hug. Mother####...
