GM's thread about nothing (22 Viewers)

Omgomgomg. I'm at a bar between the most awkward first date ever and my friend Kacey, who earlier shared with me that she is now in a relationship with a "guest of the state", who on her way to the bathroom struck up a conversation with a needy fat dude from the suburbs. ####, now I have to be a good wingman.
Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa.We are a gentile folk. Buy him some cheesesticks, rub his belly and he'll probably fall asleep within 5 minutes.
:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Yes, yes we are.
Jews do tend to live in cities.
Prussian.
Blue?
:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: This whole exchange.

Flysack is the resident tattoo fetish guy, right? How do you feel about ear gauges on petite blonde 23 year olds?

At first I thought it was kinda weird, but first date with heavily tattoo'd, slightly ear gauged girl I met at a concert last week went really well.

####, this is how people turn into weirdos isn't it?
I thought you were in a relationship
I decided to end it.. Just kinda felt like it wasn't really going anywhere. Probably making a huge mistake but oh well.I did ask GaugeGirl about reading last night.. Her response was "Ehh not so much anymore, mostly I just read Reddit". :lmao:

Just got word that Stupid Ungrateful Hoor who quit just told one of her former clients she shouldn't buy from me "because he's really mean". You know what? NOWI feel like being really mean. She must really be feeling the heat to get this desperate but what are my options here?

At least I have funerals and wakes for tonight and the rest of the week so I have a good excuse to drown my anger and think about stuff. So I got that going for me. Please save the well wishes, you have all posted more than enough. Thanks again too.
Be careful.
I'm always careful. Except when I'm not. Which is most of the time.

How did you find out she'd said this? Did the client tell you?
The client told our customer service rep that she is close to here who passed it on to my Dad because she had to leave and I wasn't in the office.
I'm busy as hell but will be back later tonight. Should I get the Hennepin County Prosecutor involved? I'm not happy about this.
I think you need to do something to shut her up. Maybe a letter from a lawyer to scare her? Threaten a defamation suit?
Relax. Take the high road.

From what you have said previously, this woman is an awful salesperson. Also, from previous posts I have gathered that you are the bomb in terms of dealing with your clients.

People will see this. The more this old hag bad mouths you, the worse she looks. That is evident with the one client telling your company/dad. If they believed what she was saying, you wouldn't have heard a word about it.

Continue being the charismatic, charming, mofo you are and laugh it off. People will appreciate your sincerity over her crap. Trust me.
See my previous post, road I'm taking. Oh yeah I've also decided to destroy the business she has been able to hold on to and likely the only reason she still has a job. She is probably not going to be happy when she gets the call to come remove all of her catalogs and to GTFO. She apparently thought the contract was with her and not my company. Thanks to her I found somebody high enough up the chain with the balls enough to do this. I'm buying him some beers next week.

Yeah, don't #### with me.

The most despicable thing is the person she told this to just got out of the hospital after two weeks because her cancer made her platlettes drop to 1.

Currently having drinks with a six-foot yoga instructor. She's dreamy.
I dig tall chicks.

So, I told this story to krista earlier, but I might as well repeat: I got a new boss about a year and a half ago. She's pretty awesome, really smart, and kinda hot. She's sitting in a political appointee slot until a new head of our office gets nominated. I run one of her sub-offices. She likes my work, and uses me and my office to troubleshoot.

So the last year has been pretty good. I stay busy, but not crazy busy. I'm a little worried that I'm no long working as an actual lawyer; I'm just a guy who manages an office, but whatever, I'm hoping it pays off.

So anyway, we are at a big meeting yesterday and making small-talk during a break, and my boss talks about how she had to get an appartment here in DC (she is based out of NY, but stays here every other week). I make some sort of non-committal comment about it being in a nice area of town, and she said something along the lines of: "oh, I need to get you over there to help me with something. I just had got some new furniture, and I can't move my TV." And then -- and this is where it gets kind of wonky -- she kind of touches me on my side, but close to my rear, and let's her hand linger there for a second. I made some sort of noise that probably resembled a nervous giggle, and then someone else stopped by, and the conversation moved on.

But it was really just a strange interaction. My boss has NEVER been anything but incredibly professional to me. Nice, sure. Jokes a lot, sure. But always professional. I did hear that she had a problem of messing around with her co-workers years ago. But I haven't seen anything funny.

Anyway, it kind of rattled me, for some strange reason. Maybe I'm just imagining things.
She's into you. A woman's lingering touch is the biggest red flag there is; it's almost as big as laughing at every stupid joke you make. Choose...wisely.
:goodposting: Bang her hard. Maybe you'll get a promotion.

Ok, so this girl tonight...let's call her Sally...because that's her name. She's currently getting her MBA and a master's in International Policy. She speaks Spanish, French, Portugese, Arabic and Farsi. This chick is a brain with legs, yet luckily has horrible taste in men.

So, the last name... could Homer and I be related soon?

Can I request someone write one about Tanner using the theme song from Golden Girls?
Thank you for teaching our kids. Posting pics of cats and singer shtick

We all love you, though you seem older than Vermont

And if you organized the First Annual Horseshoes for Hoes Pub Crawl and Horseshoe Toss for Human Sex Trafficking Awareness

Just to cornhole with Disco Stu

You would see lots of folks name their kids Siouxsie

And post teacher lounge pictures

Of pistol-fingered ifriends.

I need some reassurance that I just did the right thing (I feel very needy right now). We had a woman and her father stay at Casa Paloma in October last year, and she and I have kept in touch as I've helped them, among other things, as they look for a house down there. She is in a long-term rental now, and I knew from some e-mails that things were not going well there. Last night she sent me some e-mails and, long story short, I offered to let them move back into Paloma for an upcoming 48-day period I currently have open, just to get them out of the situation. I asked her just to pay the utilities.

She's taken me up on it and has also offered to pay the pool guy and cleaning lady, so I really should just be "out" the amount I pay Julio plus of course the profit I would have made by renting to other people. Though the time is free now, I've no doubt it would have ended up rented for at least 80% of the time. Now I'm just feeling like an idiot who hates money but am hoping some nice GMTANers will tell me I did the right thing. They can't get out of their lease for the other place, so I hated for them to be paying twice for a place to stay. They are really nice people (I was able to meet them once while in town).

Given I'd really like to retire and should be saving every $ I can find, this was pretty stupid.

He wasn't actually fat. I was embellishing. He was likely much smaller than the average GMTANer. I'm not sure she needed my help but it's been a long time since I've been a wing woman, and she e-mailed me after to tell me what a good job I did.
So she had the sex?
Shockingly, that is not how women view success in this regard. YSR needs to back me up here. ;) (Also, I don't think so. But maybe soon?)
Guessing no backup from YSR on this one.

Sometimes being a good person is better than being a rich person. Or so I hear.

This. You have put yourself in a position where I am guessing these 48 days of lost profit will not push back your impending retirement that much. Instead you are helping out someone who needs it. The karma you will gain from this will help offset the next 10 times you call Tanner an #######.

We live on a court, on an incline. So we can't see all of the houses at the top, e.g. where the crazy dog-doodie lady lives.

Yesterday, I was putting the trash cans out and I stopped to try and dig out one of those weeds that's tough to dig out. That's when I hear a loud, rumbling fart. It was simply amazing, imagine playing a tuba into AC/DC's sound system. I look up...and I can't see anyone. There's nobody around.

30 seconds later, this giant Samoan guy comes lumbering down the court. Out of view, at least 100 feet away, and he ripped one that was easily and clearly audible. Then the guy tried to sell me on a new driveway.

That was a dumb story.

They are really nice people (I was able to meet them once while in town).Given I'd really like to retire and should be saving every $ I can find, this was pretty stupid.
If it is really just for 48 hours, than you did the right thing. Don't look back.

I need some reassurance that I just did the right thing (I feel very needy right now). We had a woman and her father stay at Casa Paloma in October last year, and she and I have kept in touch as I've helped them, among other things, as they look for a house down there. Whoops. Looks like my reading comprehension is way, way, down.My answer doesn't change. The only thing that changes it is if you wanted to go down during this time. But even that should be ok if she lets you have sex with her.

Am I the only one who's already thoroughly convinced he's going to nail his boss?
In this thread? The path of least resistance (sleeping with the boss) is never the path taken. More likely, he'll go over and they will 'share a moment' like a look in the eye or sharing a box of marshmellow peeps. There will be overtures and innuendo and two or three weeks of "work is getting awkward" posts in here followed by us all giving him job advice as he looks for a new career. And then we'll move on (or in Bogart's case, take down the Valentines decor).

I would have done the same thing you did. What does Mr.Krista think about it?

This is why you keep "stuff" on an external hard drive
Or, dont keep 'stuff'n the house at all, click on 'private browsing' and visit the unlimited free sites that will more than serve your needs.
