Hey SLB how bad is the snow in our part of the world? I am heading back from Arizona tomorrow night. Will I be able to drive home from the airport? Would appreciate a weather report.

Also - hoping you get out to your buddies grave.

Also, :lmao: at a lot of funny posts today.Plus :finger: to Uni because every time I use a tortilla, and that's quite often, I hear "uh, um, somebody did a great job with these tortillas." :lmao: :lmao:
You make some mean tortillas, Bob. Hung out with Gauges for a 2nd time last night. The topic of Reddit came up again and she mentioned she has a 1.7k score or whatever the hell. What does this mean? She is an internet slut? Amburgler? I hear so many good things about Reddit but it seems confusing to my tiny drunken brain.
:goodposting: Just don't get reddit. Anything else to report about Gauges?
She's a lot of fun. Very enthusiastic. We're both fresh out of long relationships, so I think it's just the circumstances. I don't really plan to date her seriously or anything so I imagine it's only going to go on for another few weeks. The nice thing is that she lives on the other side of town (Bogart :bye: ), so I'm kind of figuring the distance will make it naturally easy to end things. I've thought about starting a thread at :e:, but I doubt it would be very entertaining. I don't possess the raw manipulative talent Stu does to goad young floozies into sending naked pics.
Hand me your phone for ten minutes. 60% of the time it works every time.

I'll say this - if you look at his Facebook pictures, he and his son created a snowman the size of Aretha Franklin.Better take the Snow Cat.

:lmao: They also put a red hat on the snow man. At first glance it looked like some sort of horrible head wound.

Well hell. Should be a good time tomorrow night. I get into town at 11:00. My car has been outside through all the rain and snow. Hope I can make it home.

Holy ####!! Congrats!!
About time. Congrats!
Thanks!
If they're declawed, I have some interesting ideas
They are no declawed, because I am not a cruel torturous human.
Yep. All kinds of awesome.K4, you moving into either Paloma or Camila, or another place?
Paloma.
Great! Good luck! Way to go.
Thanks!
:goodposting: I want to live Krista's life. The thought of gambling on baseball games all day long is all I want to do in life. Also, horses. And I'd like a monkey to throw fruit at me.And also, I'd like midgets to come to my door at odd hours selling me things I don't need.
:lmao: It's not just midgets that come to the door. And actually when they do, they are usually scaring away bandits. :)
Congrats...and pretty sure the shark move here is to make random "boxes o stuff" for fellow Jim Tanners
This is an excellent idea.
:goodposting: Really awesomeI'll be retiring when I'm 80 :kicksrock:
:( Sorry. I'm not going to retire completely yet, if it makes you feel better.
Congrats K4...I'm just going to go to work tomorrow with the rest of the schlubs, FYI.
Thanks. I'll be at work tomorrow with the schlubs, too.

Pretty much decided. Last day of "work" April 26 (when I'll be somewhere in Asia after my April 22 Singapore meeting). Travel a couple of weeks. Come back and work part-time/temp (I have an excellent opportunity available to me in this regard) while selling or giving away most of my possessions, with a target move to Nicaragua August 1, or earlier if someone buys my house.
This is the best news I have heard today. Hope someone buys your house soon. And you love relaxing in Nicaragua. And you visit Seattle again soon.

I keep meaning to mention this, but huge props to St Louis Bob on a couple fronts...

I finally got around to trying out the magical cryogenically treated razor blades. I usually run through blades pretty quickly and the quality of the shave deteriorates to the point that after the third shave or so the blade is pretty much done and I end up hacking away at my face. Not only do Bob's blades last longer (just threw away the first one and I'm right around the one month mark  ) but my goodness, it was the closest, smoothest, bestest shave I've ever had. Magical indeed

The only gym I belong to is the one at my work because it's on site and I just have to walk across the street. I usually go a couple times a week over lunch and once or twice after work. One issue is that it's not open on weekend and that's when I do the most damage with eating and drinking. I used to run in my neighborhood on the weekend but the cold and my plantar fasciitis ( :bye: shuke) have made that pretty much a non-starter. On Sunday I decided that it was time to at least do something, so with inspiration from St Louis Bob's daily jaunts, I geared up for the cold, listened to a podcast and went on a 4 mile walk. It felt good to get out and get the blood moving a bit... Might have to make this more of a regular thing on the weekends :hifive:

I've been going to the new hot Yoga studios in our area Yoga Alive. You should give it a try. Right now you can get 10 classes for $10. Since starte using MFP, working out, and doing hot yoga I've lost 30 lbs.

What's this now? Link and/or directions?Gym stuff -

I've dropped half the beer pounds I gained over the past couple weeks (curse you Beer Spot!). Still need to tone up like a mofo to get back into fighting shape. It isn't as easy as it used to be.

I'm thinking of committing sacrilege by giving up beer for a couple weeks while hammering out 1 HIIT session a week and 1 reg cardio session a week (2.5 miles run, 2.5 miles elliptical, 5 miles on the bike) in addition to my reg lifting days.

Also, I don't know how you fools powerwalk in the winter cold. Back in my 20s I would run in January single digits with ice beneath my feet and the wind burning my cheeks, but I was younger and more insane and running raises your body temperature enough to laugh at the cold. Powerwalking? Eek. Guster and SLB are hardcore.

Ok, people were making fun of me for my "guilty pleasure" track, so FU, and here's a better one.

Your Time is Gonna Come. Yeah, Zeppelin.

Oh, and did I mention it's a bluegrass cover from the Pickin on Zeppelin dual album? Seriously one of the best adaptations/covers of a popular song I've ever heard - it's got about three or four major and good transitions.

I can't find it on YouTube, but it's worth the $.99 to buy the track off of a random website.
Big fan. Watched
I figured it was the least I could do since I was the one that gave you AIDS. :hifive:

I met a girl at the bar last night that you are friends on FB with. She suggested we go out for drinks sometime.

I know I'm in the minority here, but I'm pretty hacked that I didn't find out about the Little House on the Prairie marathon that was running yesterday on INSP until there were only 2 episodes left.
