GM's thread about nothing (18 Viewers)

Just watched "End of Watch." Good movie. Not "OH MY GOSH THIS IS SO AWEOME !" like some thought but a pretty solid cop movie. One thing that was really good in the movie is the people in the bad guy gang are really unlikeable. I wanted to punch the girl and her crooked nose boyfriend.

I didn't mind the ending as much as some people. Could have gone the other way and Iwouldn't have thought the movie was better or worse. I did, however, have issue with how long it took the cops to arrive at the end. "hey, we're taking ####### MACHINE GUN FIRE" and it's ten minutes for anyone to arrive? Seems like even in the worst parts of town there would be someone closer.

Just looked it up on the Urban Dictionary and it is not what I was told it was. A friend told me it was crapping past the water line. Not so...

I enjoyed the middle third of the first one. The beginning was slow and by the time he was on the boat I had pretty much checked out. But some of the action along the way was good. I'd actually read that this one was pretty bad and rented it just because there wasn't much to chose from. The entire premise is ridiculous but sometimes that can be fun.

 
So he let's the guy go at the end and then shoves his head in to the wall and that kills him? Man, this turned out even worse than I expected.
And they use the Microsoft song at the end? Oof.

It was awful in previews. Why would anyone go see that movie? Or waste 2 hours netflixing it when they could spending their dwindling hours diddling around with their ifriends and Homer's mom?

Rented Skyfall, Zero Dark Thirty and Argo this weekend. I was most looking forward to Zero, but ended up liking Argo the most. I'd say its worth $1.08 and two hours of your time.
 
Saw Taken 2 in the theater. I think the lady that got hung upside down with the burlap sack over her head had a better time than I did.
