My child, smart and beautiful and perfect as she is, has deemed daytime to be sleepytime - to the point where I sometimes have to wake her up after 3-4 hours in order to feed her. During the nighttime, however, it's every 1.5-2 hours. It's getting pretty brutal.
I'm all for letting her cry a little longer in order to "sleep train" her, but when she stirs she makes these horrific grunting/wheezing noises as if she's choking. So even though I am right next to her (she's in a bassinet, we are not co-sleeping) and I know she's breathing okay, I am still completely tuned in to her every breath right now. She's three weeks old and I probably slept a total of about 3 hours last night.
We go to the pediatrician on Tuesday and I am going to (

) hopefully have some audio of these noises on my phone so that the doctor can tell me whether I can ignore them or not.
Otherwise, she rules.
In other news, my MIL thinks I hate her and has made a point of not coming to our house when I'm here and has let everyone know as much.
It's really cool.
