So weird. I had a dream that I was eating soup and when I woke up, my pillow was covered in drool.
 
We're on a bit of a Breaking Bad tear in our household this weekend and it makes me remember how Romo watched all of season 1 on his phone as I drove us back from cosurukhole.

Can we do another one of those soon? Man, I laughed a LOT that weekend (admittedly, mostly at GM).

Taking my lady to the Allison Inn after wine tasting through the heart of wine country (as opposed, I guess, to the heart of lemonade country). First time we've been on an overnight sans kids and sans pregnancy in perhaps 2 years. Could use this.

I'm milking a Texas-sized hangover (not a euphemism OR a band name). I'm afraid to go back & look to see if I posted here last night.

 
I just finished a meeting with my business partners where I was 50/50 that they were going to pull the plug and stick me with 50k in debt (they are both in for 100k). They both make 200 a year and I obviously don't so that would have been an issue.

Instead we worked on how to turn things around and make this profitable enough to sell at some point for a sum that erases the debt we have. All in all, I'm pretty pleased. For some reason I used to love meeting with them and planning the future. Now I loathe it because it feels like getting called in to the principals office. So between today's meeting and the breaking bad premier this is turning in to an okay day.

My God, I'm anal. Got three new company-logo shirts on Friday. I evidently couldn't stand to have an unbalanced amount of company-vs-civilian shirts so I went out & bought 3 new polos. Now I'm pissed because I ran out of "good" hangers. FML.

eta: I am actually taking stuff to Goodwill tomorrow so I have enough hangers

So I have this really goofy female cousin that lives in Washington state. She's about 55 and just went through her 3rd divorce. Nice enough to be around but she has some issues. For the last 10 years or so she's had some ongoing fued with her slightly younger sister (who is cool as hell).

Basically since she doesn't speak or interact with her sister she has excluded herself and her daughters from all of our big family events/reunions. I dont' think I've seen her for about 8 years.

Found out the other day she and her girls are coming through town on their way to Arizona. It was decided that she wanted to get together with all of us Bako people for dinner. Find out last night that it is to be tonight...at 6:30...right in the middle of the season premier of "Breaking Bad".

Went to see the Tall Ships at Navy Pier today. Was pretty excited but it was kind of a letdown. Good news, they sell beer and have a Harry Carays
