Tl;dr version for the ADD crowd: Two Fridays ago I went and had a few beers after work with my buddy Jim. He gets a DUI that night. Due to a history of problems with alcohol his wife is kicking him out and probably moving ahead with a divorce. I was 99% kidding that it is my fault in any way but it still sucks to know that I might have be able to do something to prevent it.
