Quick little bentley family update on a slow news day:

- JR is now obsessed with Star Wars and occasionally has to be forced outside to play because he's playing video games and it's "too hot outside." My mom is endlessly amused by this fact since at the age of four I was..........obsessed with Star Wars and had to be forced outside to play because I was watching TV and it was too hot outside.

- AngryWife broke down into tears this morning because JR has a loose tooth. Apparently this means that he's going to be ready for college next week. I'm mostly just wondering what the tooth fairy charges these days.

In the last 30 minutes, people have come by the front door selling tortillas, bootleg DVDs (less than $1 each and good quality), mops/brooms, and shrimp.

Please tell them all you do not keep cash in the house. If its something you really want, have them come back. You probably don't want to be know as the foreign lady who keeps a lot of cashI

Nothing here costs a lot of cash. This is just how things get sold here; you can buy almost anything from your front door. They walk down the street yelling what they have ("Mariscos, mariscos! Camarones, camarones!"). Only the DVD guy stopped by specifically for us, because our friend Andy had introduced him to us since he sells the higher-quality stuff.

DVD is a euphemism for coke, right?

I don't think I've seen the powdered milk guy! Also forgot the guy who sells bottled water and the one who comes by with a donkey cart to pick up the garbage.

There was this old gal sitting next to me and she was very pretty. Being extremely drunk and high, I decided that I should tell her as much. Overall, it's been a great show, and this season has been great, great enough to where this doesn't bug me TOO much...but it seems like the last couple episodes have hinged on fairly improbable occurrences happening, both with Jesse. The guy just standing there who happens to look like a goon? Perhaps the guy's paranoid and all.

Still, like I said, pretty good stuff. Nobody's perfect.

Well, Jesse was shaky as #### about meeting with Walt in the first place. Not too far fetched that he'd overreact.

The lightbulb going off re: Huell/Saul stealing #### off him. I mean just as the van's pulling up. But I get what you're saying about him being paranoid, especially given how much "reefer" he'd been smoking.

And then Hank spiriting him out of Walt's house just as Walt's pulling up, by seconds. Again, I dunno, everything seems really coincidental. I did like that Jesse mentions how lucky Walt is, he's definitely pulled some upsets during his run.

Again, a lesser show, it'd probably bug the #### out of me. But BB's built up a lot of goodwill IMO.

I know this will seem incredibly silly, but...

We have a kitty whom I've written about before, the little fuzzy one who was young but had kidney problems.

Seems being in a tropical climate ain't so awesome for him. Or maybe it has nothing to do with that, but he's just going downhill. But he's on a fast track to awfulsville. Vomiting four days straight, not eating and not in good shape.

Tomorrow to vet and possibly back to US because health of FUZZY is most important damn thing. #######it.

Penalties are negligible. Electricity is pretty cheap down here. As to why I haven't been disconnected yet...I live in Hippietown, and cutting off someone's electricity might kill them in this climate.
